At the risk for earning a reputation as a party planner, I have a thing for everyone to attend again. Don't worry, lots of other people are helping pull it together. It's going to be on New Year's Eve, but the real event is the countdown to Winn's birthday which is also on the first. It's going to be in a club we rented out for this in the red shift district. Starts around seven-ish. Ends when you pass out?

It's kind of a surprise maybe? At least the part where it's for his birthday. And if you don't know Winn but you still want to come that's fine too. You can trade a gift for Winn for a free drink at the bar. Otherwise, bring some money. Cake's on us though.

[Birthday/New Year's Party]
[The space is well decorated and so glittered you can probably tell Wrath was part of the team putting this together. Lots of Winn's friends came out to help whether it was getting decorations up, managing food, music, or chipping in to buy out the space and a drink for anyone bringing a gift. Not to mention drinks for the birthday boy all night.

There's a table for presents and another one with a spread of openly available food though the bar has appetizers you can buy too. There's a big cake at one end because of course there is and some punch that didn't start the night spiked at least. There's space for dancing and a karaoke machine set up on a small raised platform for those who want to try their hand at entertainment.

The night really kicks off when Winn walks in and instead of a balloon drop there's a fluffy blue stuffed bear drop. Feel free to take one of those home. There are a lot.

When midnight comes closer some people will file out to one of the observation areas to get a good view of the nebula for the big countdown. Bring your own person to kiss!

[She gently leads him across the room, nudging some bears out of the way. They need to pick more of those up probably. There's a blue package at the center of the table that she scoops up and hands to him.] Fragile.

[ he has no idea what he was expecting - but it still looks too big. she got him all those gifts for christmas, she got him this great party, and now she got him a birthday present a well - it all just feels like too much.

even if she hadn't told him it was fragile, he still would've handled it with care. it's a gift from kitty, and that makes it precious. ]

I'm a bad influence on you. [ he says with a smile, as he kisses her cheek and takes the package, opening it carefully, and laughing with sheer glee at what he finds inside. he picks up the blue shot glass and inspects it with a great big smile. ]

This is so awesome!

The worst influence. Valentine's Day is all on you. [Kidding. Maybe. She leans in and kisses his cheek.] Just don't make me drag you all the way back to the room. [As if. She'd get Kara to carry him if he did pass out.]

[winn]

Done.

[ really found a great threat for him there! he shrugs at her other request though. ]

Not making any promises. [ okay he doesn't mean to get that drunk but who knows how much good sense he'll have left in an hour. ]

I guess I should do the dumb thing now then. [Yes, there is one more thing up her sleeve and then that's it! No more until next Christmas!]

[ he may have to cut her off til christmas 2020 at this rate. ]

Okay, first of all, this is not an admission that you're a great and attentive boyfriend. But... You seemed pretty into the idea of me singing karaoke with you and we have the machine and it's your birthday so one song.

[winn]

[ his face lights up like she just said she's giving him a machine to take them home. ]

Works for me, means you'll have to do it again!

[passingthrough]

[She gives him a kiss.] I already regret everything. [Smiling. She regrets nothing.]

[winn]

[ he kisses back. ] No backsies!

No backsies. [She nuzzles.] The song we talked about or something else?

[winn]

Anything you want. [ the look on his face yells the same; it's like smitten on steroids. ]

Okay, we'll do that one since we both know it. And because I was made for loving you. [Such a look! It could be his own superpower!]

[winn]

And I can't get enough of you baby.

[ and it's her superpower to get it out of him. he puts down the shot glasses and kisses her. ]

[She wraps her arms around him and for a moment they are the only two people in the world even though they are surrounded by friends.] I should have warned people about the excessive PDA.

I think that's implied at this point -

[ spend time with both of them - endure the pda. especially at special occasions, they were pretty bad on her birthday, too. ]

Good point. I guess as long as the clothes stay on they know what they signed up for.

[winn]

I don't love them that much.

[ okay he loves them deeply and fully but they still don't get to see his beautiful girlfriend naked. ]

You're cute. [Kissing him again and humming the song as she pulls back.] Tomorrow is just us in bed all day, yes?

[winn]

Sounds perfect.

But tonight's party sounds perfect too, right? Demanding girlfriend is demanding.

[winn]

Perfect girlfriend.

[ he boops her nose. ]

Tonight's party's the best party ever.

[passingthrough]

[Smiling at that.] I can't believe how many parties I've helped with since being here. Do you think I'm part pony now?

[winn]

Deep down, we're all part pony.

[ nudging. ]

Alarming. So alarming. [Walks with him to the little stage.]
