mingle a little Mor tonight
Who: Everyone!
Broadcast: Sure!
Action: The wonderful world of Mor, nearby way-stations, and ships!
When: The first week or so of arrival
[this is it-- Atroma's surprise vacation stay for you all! it's time to explore, speculate, relax, and totally behave yourselves. right?
how are you all dealing with the ever-so-educational volcano? have you played around with the visual toggle on those collars yet? aren't they cool? aren't these peasant clothes rad? if you haven't had a decent meal since Abeo, maybe you could afford some of that authentic farm-raised meat they have here. historical!
I bet you're all excited and completely thrilled to be here! who wouldn't be? ...so, make some discoveries, make some friends, and have fun!]

It's just that I met one of your kind in another world once, though I imagine that sounds strange.

[He considers the stranger, watching him carefully for a moment, and then he inches closer, cautiously.]
I was in a place much like this, before, pulled from my home world. I was not eager to see I had been plucked again.
no subject
Where were you before this?

[He sighs, a long-suffering sigh, not because he's been bounced around the mutiverse, but because he hates explaining things to people.
But he doesn't lie when he is asked.]
I was told it was Earth, but a bit of a...war-ravaged dystopian future version. There was also a moon in there somewhere that we lived on briefly. It was quite an odd place. I nearly died several times and was kidnapped for experiments by...what were they called? The United Earth? Some rubbish to that effect.
I do hope this place isn't as aggressive as the last.
[He's also a Timewalker, so he's not stranger to the whole "time travel and alternate universes" thing, he just tended to stay with alternated universes on Azeroth and Draenor.]

It seems rather sedate so far, though perhaps that's the calm before the storm. I'm honestly holding a similar hope. The world I arrived from was no more kind than yours, by the sound of things.

[He wars with politeness and the fact that he dislikes humans for a moment, before tilting his head a bit.]
My name is Kirian Nilhandril.
[We'll leave out the "Lord" bit for now- he married into nobility, anyway. The thought of Varaelian beings a stab of longing and loneliness with it. Much as Kirian would profess he was an unkind man, he desperately missed the medic.
Odd, how he took comfort in knowing that Varaelian would be waiting for him when he returned.]
Who did you know, from my world?
no subject
[He smiles a moment in bittersweet remembrance. Her time there was not all that long, but he regarded her very highly]
She went by Lady Liadrin. It seems like ages ago that I knew her however. During the first year or so of my stay.

[Kirian made a face, almost as if he was unsure if he ought to smile or frown. In the end, he settled on a frown.]
I assume you are not from Azeroth, in that case.
no subject
No. I assume my question would have been self-evident were that the case.

[He shrugs softly.]

[He raises a brow slightly as a thought occurs to him]
Do your people not exist in some timelines?
no subject
[He shrugs softly. He can offer more explanation than that, but. Effort.]
no subject
I gather this has, ah, something to do with how you came to be dependence on magic?
no subject
[Liadrin was a painfully good and decent woman, was she? Kirian feels bitter already.]
That was largely due to living in such close proximity to The Sunwell. It was...hm. If there was a holy site for us elves, that would be it.

[With a slightly hopeful note] You wouldn't happen to be of a similar discipline, would you?
