[Adachi sees Lloyd peering over the various weapons and armor that are on sale. Recognizing him from when he first arrived aboard the Marsiva, Adachi decides to try and strike up a "totally harmless" conversation.]

Ah! Lloyd-kun! You have a pretty keen interest in swords, huh?

[idealistic]

[ "totally harmless" right ]

…Oh! Hey! [ he turns to Adachi to greet him properly before looking back at the sword. ] Yeah, you can say that. I mean, I fight with them so I kinda have to.

[ in case the two swords already at his hips weren't any indicator. ]

[Adachi eyes Lloyd, then the swords in his hands, and then down to the two on his hip.]

Are you sure you need so many?

Nah, I just need two!

[ DUH!!! he taps at the ones on his hips with his elbow. ] These ones are total junk, though, so I'm replacing 'em.

[Still... even two seems like overkill by Adachi's standards. Then again, why even bother with swords when a firearm is far superior?]

You expecting trouble or something? I mean, why bother carrying weapons at all?

[Not that Adachi's one to talk. He's pretty much always carrying a concealed firearm from his ship's armory.]

[ because he has super sensitive hearing and the shots would hurt his ears bad. plus, swords are way superior (nottalking) ]

We always did back home, but now it's just for work! A friend and I usually take on some mercenary jobs for extra cash when we land on planets.
