mingle a little Mor tonight
Who: Everyone!
Broadcast: Sure!
Action: The wonderful world of Mor, nearby way-stations, and ships!
When: The first week or so of arrival
[this is it-- Atroma's surprise vacation stay for you all! it's time to explore, speculate, relax, and totally behave yourselves. right?
how are you all dealing with the ever-so-educational volcano? have you played around with the visual toggle on those collars yet? aren't they cool? aren't these peasant clothes rad? if you haven't had a decent meal since Abeo, maybe you could afford some of that authentic farm-raised meat they have here. historical!
I bet you're all excited and completely thrilled to be here! who wouldn't be? ...so, make some discoveries, make some friends, and have fun!]

[ She acts like she's considering it, but the smile on her face says she likes it ]
Do you think a robin suits you?
no subject
[which he explains without any hesitation--he's confident in his answer.]
no subject
[ Conflicting stories seem to suit you, Robin! ]
Did your parents name you that? Or is it a nickname?
no subject
It's a nickname. My siblings and I all gave each other bird names.
no subject
[ Somehow this surprises her ]
You seem like the only child type.
no subject
[it's the best of both worlds. she was kind of right.]
no subject
Ahh, got it.
So did they all have bird names too?
no subject
[he lists all nine of them like it's nothing. doesn't even bother listing them on his fingers. he knows all the names by heart.]
no subject
At least, that's what she gets out of it ]
Woodpecker? What'd that poor kid do to get a nickname like that?

We were so mean to him. He had... Ah, some kind of deficiency. His bones were kind of bent wrong, had bowed legs. We used to pick on him all the gods-damned time because he couldn't walk very well.
Showed us all when he built himself some splints. And a rope-suspension network. Zipped through the air while the rest of us unworthy children were left on the boring ground.
Exactly what we deserved. Woodpecker. Built stuff out of wood.
