[why is he here? why not? he's been wandering all over the place to keep his mind off of things, and the training area is no exception.

he wasn't going to pay this person any mind... until he notices the massive sword that they're wielding with one hand. he has to turn his modulator off to even recognize him--and he's even more surprised that it's Allan.

SO, when he gets to a point where he's not actively swinging his sword around, he'll call out to him:]

Oy, Allen! Where does a guy like you learn how to do that, huh?

[Allen had sense Robin coming the moment he had come into the training area. He's gotten used to getting this ping of the strange soul that's attached to Robin's- so he had immediately dismissed it. Still, by the time Robin has finally decided to call out to him, while he's taking a slight breather- he's not the least bit surprised that Robin is here.]

What do you mean a guy like me?

[Rude!]

I mean that it seems a little strange for a guy your size to be lifting that large a sword without any effort.

[he's calling you short, Allen.]

[He gives a huff] I'm not that much shorter than you, you know.

[Only a couple inches!! And he's growing now! Gah]

[not true. but he knows a normal human couldn't do it... so well...]

I...had to learn how to do it out of necessity once. Since then, I suppose the habit has simply stuck.

...I see. [he looks up at the sky for a moment--for some reason--and then back at Allan, putting his hands behind his back. polite.] I suppose I shouldn't ask further.

[He gives a little shrug]

I don't really care if you do. It's simply a strange story [like many of his stories are], so I thought to keep it concise.

[Eh, why the hell not. He removes his left glove, showing his rather deformed looking hand. The skin is red, the nails are black and that cross on the back of his hand seems to glow a light green.]

My left arm is made up a material that becomes a weapon when I choose. In its strongest form, it becomes a large sword. It's powerful, but...it leaves me without a second arm.

[were he straight from Skeleton City, he'd be all over that. magical, monstrous things were kind of a rarity. a genetic mutation or a curse--he'd be all over himself to figure it out. but today he does little aside from look at it curiously, because he's learned that most people just have weird magical bullshit going on around here.]

That's really interesting. Organic or synthetic?

I... [He hesitates. What is Innocence?] I don't know.

In my world, people believe it comes from God. And I haven't found anything like the material in any other world.

Oh... [he tilts his head a little... he wonders what it would look like, if he looked at it in his true form. maybe Tek would feel strings of Fate attached to it. all sorts of possibilities.] Very strange. You've always had it?

[He gives a little nod] Yes, that's right.

[he has more to say but he's... sure Allen has already heard it.]

[He moves to put his glove back on.]
