[It sure is a lovely day actually pretty much indeterminate time period out here in the vast darkness of space, isn't it? I bet everyone's enjoying themselves, getting a chance to get off their dinky little ship and stretch their legs. Even on this shitty, empty little waystation.

[ooc: hi everyone! I thought I'd give this a try and see how the game liked it. What we have here is a mass mingle post. Rather than everyone making a bunch of different posts about landing on the station, everyone is invited to post a parent comment with their character out and about, doing something. Everyone else is invited to look at who's posted, tag them, post their own parent comments, thread jack, tag around and generally have a grand old time! It should hopefully be a nice low-pressure way to do some action tagging with each other.

Well, we don't know a lot about the way-stations yet, so I figured it was best to be prepared, just in case.

Plus, it's more comfortable for me to wear instead of those hideous jumpers.

We have a pair of those, but I don't think they're for me. It's a shame, I'd like to be better armed...

It's depressing just to be on a ship with him! All gloom, gloom and never a smile to break the monotony. It looks like a sad way to be.

He has his reasons-- not that I wouldn't also like to know what they are, but when he's ready, he'll talk. One can only cling to their past when relocated to places like this for so long. If he's not already, he'll eventually learn that what allowed to survive at home might not work here.

It can't happen soon enough, as far as I'm concerned. Our crew needs to be able to work together.

I'd like it in the day to day too, so it's a pleasant environment on ship.

Trust me, I'm prepared for it to take some time... as long as it happens.

[ Cecil thinks about Kain, Golbez, Sousei, Barakiel, Riku... and she inwardly prays that Hange's wishes come true, because it certainly feels to her like it'll take a lot of "some time" for it to change someone with such a prickly exterior like Z's. He almost makes getting a full sentence worth of personal opinion out of Kain and Barakiel look easy. ]

Are you... always trying to get him to come out of his shell?

I know that would just make him more defensive.

I'll give it a rest for a while and see if he relaxes at all.
