[It sure is a lovely day actually pretty much indeterminate time period out here in the vast darkness of space, isn't it? I bet everyone's enjoying themselves, getting a chance to get off their dinky little ship and stretch their legs. Even on this shitty, empty little waystation.

[ooc: hi everyone! I thought I'd give this a try and see how the game liked it. What we have here is a mass mingle post. Rather than everyone making a bunch of different posts about landing on the station, everyone is invited to post a parent comment with their character out and about, doing something. Everyone else is invited to look at who's posted, tag them, post their own parent comments, thread jack, tag around and generally have a grand old time! It should hopefully be a nice low-pressure way to do some action tagging with each other.

Please tag in if you feel so inclined! Don't be shy to tag around!]

[he stops, and... shakes his head. it's fine. he didn't expect her to.

and then the whole thing is kind of dropped--he appears to lose interest in her, looking over at that shopping center again, resting his arms on his knees. he even shrugs, apathetically. what can he do? she won't help. she doesn't seem immediately dangerous, so. fine.]

[ugh he doesn't actually want to communicate with anyone...

he almost sighs as he fishes into his pocket and pulls out his personal communicator. he holds it up towards her. he'd rather use these.]

She takes hers out too; that's probably easier than finding paper and a pen, after all. ]

[he holds his hand out one more time, but this time he's obviously looking at her communicator and expects her to give it to him.]

[ She'll hand that over without hesitation; it certainly isn't as important to her as the skull is. ]

[oh good, that means he can put in her personal frequency code without a problem. he finally stands again a moment later, almost looking more human-like that way, and hands it back. without looking, of course. he's busy texting something with his other hand.]

And she won't even use his contact info for evil. ]

he doesn't glance over at his device when he scrolls up...

and sends her the exact same text over again.]

Over the past few days, she's been getting the idea that it's...less necessary here than it once was. ]

[see, that's much better. no strange eyes, no sharp teeth, no scales, no bizarre distortions or mutations. if she has a face, she's less of a monster and more like Coil. and he can live with that.

he nods, less severely. he also pulls his collar down so that she can see him silently mouth the words "thank you".]

[ Oh, she really had made him nervous... ]

[he pulls his collar back up, but shakes his head. he doesn't care anymore.]

[ She goes ahead and puts it back on, in that case. ;; ]

[ Since she feels bad for being rude/making him uneasy. ]

[he thinks about it. he looks over at that mall again... but shrugs and shakes his head. he's fine. she's passed.]
