[The broadcast goes out on 3/10, and Dorian smirks a bit into the feed.]

I believe I've secured lodging for myself, with room enough for several others. If you need a place to stay, do let me know. It's a quaint little villa a bit outside of town. ...please don't mind the suspicious glances, I assure you, I've done nothing entirely against the guidelines that were set.

[Dorian has secured a villa, but the residents of Mor don't seem too keen on having an evil mage for a neighbor. As the month goes on, more and more villagers will show up to stand at the gates of the villa and threaten to come in after the "evil wizard".

Maybe he shouldn't have gone so overboard with the whole "contacting the spirits of the dead" thing.]

No, but our backs would turn against these people the moment we were forced to leave. To cause some sort of rebellion, or revolution, and then leave--if we are to do something, it has to be more [he vaguely gestures with his butterknife] subtle.

[If they did, Kirkwall would probably not be a half-destroyed wreck. ]

And what would you suggest? How do we subtly give these people their right to the truth? If we're too cautious, it will just give the people running this place the chance to scramble, to cover it all up again, as if we were not here at all.

The wise thing to do would be to find leaders that are of a similar mind as us. [See, Cullen's not fond of the way things are, either.] People that live here, that could see things through.

I doubt anyone in a position of power would want things to change. They get far too many advantages from allowing their people to continue living their false lives.

It need not be someone already in power. [Second in command would work, too. It did with him. Not that he's necessarily thinking of Kirkwall, of course.]

You think they have underlings who would be swayed?

[It's a genuine question. In Tevinter, anyone within a sniff of power wouldn't turn away from it for anything. Dorian is the exception, rather than the rule. ]

I doubt that we would be able to convince them to let go of their fears. We are strangers to them.

I doubt we will have much time here to help them rebuild. Sometimes it is best to cut the chains quickly, let them learn for themselves.

[The anger he expects, but the noise--and then the lyrium--he does not. It makes something deep within him itch, and he has to scrub his hand over his face and step back. He can handle being near lyrium, has been near the stores in Skyhold often enough, but it's been... quite some time.]

[Fenris mistakes Cullen's reaction for frustration, and his eyes narrow. ]

No. It wouldn't be. They would be free and not dead.

[There's a good chance at least half of this is about him. ]

[She could probably ignore the sound of fists being slammed into things as she passed on by, but that flash of lyrium had Jove turning on her heel to come right back. If Fenris was feeling angry enough to express himself in that way, it was bad enough. That Cullen was the one to have to deal with it? That made it worse. There's really no way she can't step in now.]

And here I thought I was the only one after a midnight snack.

[She passes between them, but reaches out to lightly pat Fenris' hand as she goes.]

You'll wake the whole house that way.

[This just went from bad to worse. Cullen turns away entirely, hand running over his face once more.]

[The most strained greeting.]

[He turns his head to the sound of her voice, diffusing his anger somewhat. Or at least, distracting him from it. At her touch, the lyrium fizzles out as if it were a candle,and he jerks his hand away, shoulders tense. He's come to enjoy her company, but she's not quite there yet.

He scowls, staring a hole into the table. ]

I am sure they will live.

I would hope so. This house somehow became the most sane place on this entire planet, I'd hate to see that ruined.

[Hint motherfucking hint. There's a bowl of fruit on a counter and Jove selects an apple from it, rolls it across the table to Fenris so it stops in his line of sight. She didn't forget you like those, bro.

Cullen isn't looking at her, which is... well, expected, but at least he didn't call her Inquisitor. She'd like to put a hand on his shoulder, but it wouldn't exactly look right all things considered, so she claims an apple for herself and takes a bite, leaning on the counter as she looks between the two men. We good here?]

[Oh, he wanted to. Cullen just busies himself with his bread and jam, trying very much to ignore the sudden dryness in his mouth.]

[Fenris glares at the apple, as if it were about to kick him in the face. He heaves out an annoyed sigh, picking it up. ]

I was leaving, anyway.

[He turns off towards the door, to so stalk off to his cavern of solitude room.]
