004 // the house of sin
Who: Dorian and assorted guests
Broadcast: Fleet-wide, 3/10
Action: In a villa practically in the forest (THE HOUSE OF SIN)
When: Broadcast- 3/10 // Action- 3/9-3/31? Until we leave.
Broadcast:
[The broadcast goes out on 3/10, and Dorian smirks a bit into the feed.]
I believe I've secured lodging for myself, with room enough for several others. If you need a place to stay, do let me know. It's a quaint little villa a bit outside of town. ...please don't mind the suspicious glances, I assure you, I've done nothing entirely against the guidelines that were set.
---------
Action:
[Dorian has secured a villa, but the residents of Mor don't seem too keen on having an evil mage for a neighbor. As the month goes on, more and more villagers will show up to stand at the gates of the villa and threaten to come in after the "evil wizard".
Maybe he shouldn't have gone so overboard with the whole "contacting the spirits of the dead" thing.]
((OOC: Mingle post for the House of Sin. We'll pretend there are enough rooms in here for everyone! Even if you character only drops by to rest their feet a bit, everyone is welcome to visit and stay the night if they want.))

This world is wrong. They keep the people in ignorant servitude. It needs to be stopped.

From my understanding, we're only here a short time.
no subject
That doesn't give us an excuse to turn a blind eye.
no subject
[Because he's assuming none of Hawke's friends know subtle.]
no subject
And what would you suggest? How do we subtly give these people their right to the truth? If we're too cautious, it will just give the people running this place the chance to scramble, to cover it all up again, as if we were not here at all.

The wise thing to do would be to find leaders that are of a similar mind as us. [See, Cullen's not fond of the way things are, either.] People that live here, that could see things through.

I doubt anyone in a position of power would want things to change. They get far too many advantages from allowing their people to continue living their false lives.

[It's a genuine question. In Tevinter, anyone within a sniff of power wouldn't turn away from it for anything. Dorian is the exception, rather than the rule. ]

[One day, Fenris will learn that this didn't even work for him, so it has little chance of working for anyone else. Ever. ]

[Okay, ANDERS. See how well that sort of thinking went, Fenris?]
Fenris Rivalry +10
Don't be a fool, Cullen. I have no intentions of harming innocent people. Don't mistake me for him.
u mad cuz that burn
he needs water for it
Please don't lick him]Getting people out of a mess like this is nothing like blowing up a chantry.
go get anders to heal it
You're missing my point. The chaos would be the same.
NEVER
No. It wouldn't be. They would be free and not dead.
[There's a good chance at least half of this is about him. ]

And here I thought I was the only one after a midnight snack.
[She passes between them, but reaches out to lightly pat Fenris' hand as she goes.]
You'll wake the whole house that way.

Jove.
[The most strained greeting.]

He scowls, staring a hole into the table. ]
I am sure they will live.
no subject
[Hint motherfucking hint. There's a bowl of fruit on a counter and Jove selects an apple from it, rolls it across the table to Fenris so it stops in his line of sight. She didn't forget you like those, bro.
Cullen isn't looking at her, which is... well, expected, but at least he didn't call her Inquisitor. She'd like to put a hand on his shoulder, but it wouldn't exactly look right all things considered, so she claims an apple for herself and takes a bite, leaning on the counter as she looks between the two men. We good here?]

I was leaving, anyway.
