I suppose most people consider a kidnapping at its basic core being dragged somewhere without permission or consent and not being allowed to leave again.

Hmmm, that's a good point. Still, it requires a different skillset- a good sense of rhythm and rhyme and all of that. I could write words, but I wouldn't be able to write the actual notes, and that's half the battle.
