Why you should never give an elf a Vuvuzela, a treatise
Who: Maglor and all of you
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Huntress
When: Right Now
[ The gift basket got a curious look, and Maglor fished idly through it before uncovering some odd instruments.
Which he tries.
So sorry, everyone on the Huntress, you just got disturbed by the most annoying sound in the world
Later on, he'll also try some of the other instruments, which will lead to the whole Fleet being "treated" to ... well something rather unexpected from an elf ]

I can care for myself and far better than I did before. Unless you decide to use this... (He picks up the vuvuzela.) ...near my ear to wake me every morning.
(Action)
But do you do that because of me? I don't... want to be a burden.
[ He giggles at that thought however ]
Mikelo would be very angry.
(Action)
You worry about Mikelo? What about me?
(Action)
I suppose we were.
[ He grins and wriggles free of his brother's arms, knowing what will happen ]
You are my brother - you should be used to me waking you up with loud noises by now!
(Action)
Re: (Action)
[ Maglor objects with a laugh, dodging Maedhros' reaching fingers ]
And you mean I have no innured you to loud sounds yet? Clearly, I must try harder!
(Action)
(Maedhros smirks and follows still, trying to foresee the direction of said dodging.)
Clearly, you must stop or I will tickle you until you can't speak each and every time!
Re: (Action)
[ It is a small room, and they know each other very well - Maedhros will catch him eventually, but Maglor means to make him work for it ]
This assumes I will allow you to catch me!
(Action)
We know each other so well!
(Maedhros dives and lifts Maglor off of his feet, laughing richly.)
(Action)
Nooooo! Let me down!
(Action)
Not until you promise to be good!
(Action)
[ Maglor laughs, young, for a moment, with shadows banished to quiet corners ]
I want to make noise!
(Action)
(He cannot help but give him a brotherly nuzzle for that laughter. It is a sweet sound.)
Only if it is pleasant.
(Action)
He smiles up at his brother instead ]
Then what song does my king ask of his bard?
(Action)
Sing me one I have not heard.
(Action)
I haven't sung you all the Ringbearer ones, have I?
Sing me a story of heroes of the Shire
Muddling through, brave and true
Stubborn as bindweed and tough as old brier
Never too showy or grand
Year after year they persevere
Now and for always
(Action)
Are they truly as small as Dwarves?
Re: (Action)
The very tallest would not be over four feet.
(Action)
(Action)
Which I cannot argue with, mind.
Not in the way dwarves are, no - they do not grow beards, as a rule! But their feet are quite hairy, and the soles of their feet are tough so they go barefoot.
(Action)
(His eyes widen.) Why they are the perfect creations for Yavanna, are they not?
(Action)
As to that, I don't know, but it would honestly not surprise me!
(Action)
They sound magnificent.
