You can say 'odd' or 'just plain terrible', if you like. Believe me, this one is better than the other in my gift basket. And then there's the third thing which... I am not convinced is an instrument at all and seems more a decoration.

I can't say I've ever seen anything like that. Or... heard anything that unpleasant. Is it supposed to be for music?

I do not know - it is higly poorly executed if so, for it has only the one note, although that could be adjusted by altering the length of the device I suppose...

I'm less concerned by the lack of variety and more by the sound it makes...

According to Arthur it is... some sort of device used at sporting events. I must confess I do not see the appeal.

Not an instrument for music, that's for sure. They're for sporting events, and to be blown outside.

Whoever invented them deserves to be loved in an echoey room with a thousand of them.
