002 - Looks like a discoball and tastes like strawberries and dreams

[Fenris had a very unsettled night, sleep wasn't the cards after his run in with Cole. Eventually, he does leave his armory to find breakfast. He goes by way of the cargo hold (just to check the horrible little wretch isn't lurking there) but instead finds a gift basket with his name on. Fenris can't read the rest of what's on it, but the gift basket is full of condoms, lubes and other sundries that only naked people will really have use for. Emblazoned on everything is Madame Gertrude's Pleasure Barn. Not only has Fenris been given one, but any character who have decided to indulge in a little romance, up to and including flirting has been sent one. The Fleet has got itself a sponsor. For today, at least.

Fenris is well aware what these things are (thanks, Exisilium) so it's with a largely bemused expression that he turns on his communicator, pointing at the...gift. ]

Please tell me that I'm not the only one who has been given one of these today. I suppose Atroma expects us to be grateful? Though it is roughly as subtle as a brick to the face.

Clearly we have, though I'm curious about the implication. I mean, you wouldn't think you had to be grateful unless there was a need for such a thing in the first place.

Oh...just your presence at the villa for that extended period, especially considering your, hm...history...with mages.

Exsilium taught me a lot about... dealing with them better. I'm still wary, they can still face corruption all too easily. But there are good mages in the world, those who understand the power they wield and are cautious enough to fear the temptation it brings. Dorian is one of them.

...Even though I wish he'd stop playing with dead things.

[Felix runs through a few emotions at that point, the first of which is the impulse to say something sarcastic about their bedroom practices. There's also the curiosity in Fenris seeing something in Dorian that he hadn't yet (pretty face excluded), and the pang of disappointment so deep he almost doesn't notice it]

[He settles on smirking softly] One can hope, though it can be difficult to get any user of magic to shift his viewpoint. It's like diverting a river. It can be done, but it takes substantial time and effort.

I doubt very much he will change. I tend to just let him get along with it. Preferably away from me.
