[Dinner definitely went well with more teasing and banter throughout as they shared their meals with each other. Keith felt himself relaxing even more as the night went on because things were going well. His nerves were dissipating as they were both having a good time, and that had been his goal.

He gladly took Lance's hand as they left the restaurant.]

There's a few places around here we can check out. [Keith shrugged.] I'm not going to go crazy looking for something, though. It's kind of a last minute thing and really it's just enough to get us back to the ships, so... [Definitely not anything complicated and requiring a long trip, right?]

[He nods at that. Definitely nothing that'll take too long.]

Just a shirt and a pair of underwear, honestly. We can just wear the same pants back to the ship if anything.

That's true.

[Keith chuckled.]

You sure you don't want to stop off for a bunch of shower stuff?

[He nudged Lance with his elbow.]

Psssssh... I think I can go without my skin care routine for one day. I guess.

[He nudges him right back. Granted, he'll have to stock up before they go drifting again...but not now.]

Really?

I'll have to remember that next time you stay over and hog the bathroom.

[He grinned, and then gave Lance a quick kiss as they approached the shopping area. There were several stores to choose from, different styles in each, so Keith just headed into one.]

Hey. I said one day. This is a very special occasion, okay?

[Silly Keith. Lance will forever hog the bathroom. He has to make himself nice and pretty, after all.

He follows him in, looking around. Right now, he isn't picky; just something to toss on in the morning will do.]

[Keith just smirked a little and kept looking. He found a shirt that wasn't half bad, and then headed off to grab a pair of underwear and a pair of socks.]

[Stupid silly smirk. He's going to kiss that right off of you, Keith. Soon. Very soon.

Lance picks up a blue long sleeved shirt (old habits die hard), some socks, and just to switch it up a little, red boxer briefs. They're paid for, and he waits for Keith to finish up, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet.]

[Keith had actually grabbed a black and red baseball tee. Lance apparently had a mild influence on his taste this time around. Though, everything else was pretty neutral.

It didn't take him long to catch up, either.]

What are you so jumpy about?

[He grabbed Lance's hand as they started to head out and back to the hotel.]

[He can't help but grin when he sees the shirt that Keith is buying. There's just something about the idea of Keith wearing the same style shirt he usually sports that's... He doesn't quite know what word to place about the feeling, but it's good.]

I'm not jumpy! Just...happy. Excited.

[And to be honest? Kind of nervous. While he's more than eager for anything they get up to tonight (and honestly, he doesn't think he himself will have many limits), there's still his lack of actual experience with...stuff.]

Yeah?

[Keith looked a little surprised, but in a good way.]

Good. I'm glad.

Yeah. I like that shirt you got, by the way.

[He gives him another smile as they walk back to the hotel. It isn't much of a journey, and before he knows it, they've gotten back to the room they're staying in. Lance drops his bag to the side, kicking off his shoes and hanging up his coat.]

[Keith blinked in surprise, not getting it at first, and then... click! Oh... He chuckled a little. He hadn't even really noticed.]

Thanks...

[He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

Once back at the hotel, he also dropped his bag, but on the bed they hadn't messed up, and then outer layers were similarly discarded on said bed. He sat down on the one they had, pulling off his boots before crossing one of his legs underneath himself, the other hanging off the side as he watched Lance settle in.]

[Once he's settled in a little, he takes a seat next to Keith on the bed they're actually using. Lance is starting to feel a tad nervous again, mostly because he really wants Keith to be happy, and he doesn't want to mess this up. However far they go.

He leans in to give Keith a soft kiss, figuring it'll relax the both of them.]

[As Lance leaned in, Keith's eyes lowered to focus on Lance's mouth for a moment, and then he closed the gap to return the kiss, his eyes closing completely as he did. He smiled a little, and then kissed him again, a little harder, bringing his hand over to grab Lance's.]

[He tangles their fingers together, deepening the kiss bit by bit. For a while, he's just content to kiss, but eventually he tugs Keith further onto the bed so the both of them can properly lay down on it.]

So.

So...?

[Keith quirked an eyebrow, shifting so he could lay on Lance's chest. He smirked.]

Sooooooo. Maybe we should get rid of these shirts again.

[It's a start!]

Hmph.

[Keith looked a little amused for a moment, and then reached down, grabbed the hem of Lance's shirt and giving a tug.]

Sit up.

[He pushed himself up so Lance could do the same.]

Yes, sir.

[He gives a little salute before sitting up, helping Keith take off his shirt. He reaches forward and does the same to Keith's, tossing it off to the side. Not like it's going to be worn again soon.]

[There was that tiny wince again, but Keith seemed to just barrel through, ignoring it once again as the shirts were discarded. Instead, he leaned in, kissing gently around Lance's neck.]

[He reaches up to stroke through Keith's hair again. It's getting longer, might need a trim sometime... But he could think more about that later.]

I'm gonna make you feel so good you'll wonder how you ever managed without me.

[Careful with those scissors, Lance.

Keith pulled his head back to look at Lance for a moment, a slight smirk on his face.]

Really now?

[He'll be careful! Promise!

He smirks back, trying to look more confident than he actually feels.]

Yep. You're gonna be like, oh, why did I wait this long to be in his arms and kissing him and stuff.

[Okay, so maybe he's not very good with words right now. So he just lunges in to kiss him again, lightly pushing Keith back by the shoulders until he's laying down on the bed.]

That sounded nothing like me.

[Keith chuckled, letting Lance push him back onto the bed.]
