[It's a bit of a habit by now to go looking for clothes when they hit a new system, even though Thor was well served by Nariba Relia. He might not strictly need new items, but if he's signing up for a team here he might as well get something with their insignia. Not hard to do, as Ben loudly points out.

Thor glances up from where he's peering at a Starstrikers-themed eye patch and just chuckles.]

They are rather single-minded around here.

I am. [He picks up the eye patch once more, testing the extent of the band with his finger and thumb.] I have visited a great many worlds in my own universe. Usually, though, I intend to go to them. The abduction is relatively new.

I would hope the abduction part is new. [relatively?? Dude did you get kidnapped before. Whatever, he puts on the glasses he's been eyeing and blinks a few times as his good eye adjusts. . . . and then again, as he finally looks at Thor and sees more than a blurry tall figure] . . . space pirate?

[At least he hasn't taken offence. It's kind of funny, actually.]

And yes, it's a rare day I get abducted. Occasionally I fall through rifts in space, but that is also not my doing.

You know, I don't believe I've met a pirate. I have met mercenaries and slavers though, that counts a little.

[Thor drops the eye patch back onto the table, nodding.]

Both of those, yes. They're similar in nature once you know enough about the two kinds.

[Thor snorts then, mood turning a bit sour.]

First I was sold by one. The punching came later.

[And then he made friends with Valkyrie. A typical Thor story. Picking up a pair of glasses, Thor frowns at them for a moment. Everything in here has a gimmick. ]

No, I'm Asgardian. The God of Thunder. But I do know a human who survived the same thing.

That's the black team, right? I bet they consider it so. Heard they're the team to beat in this place.

It is. They have had the most victories and with good reason. From the few I have met, they have some commendable talents among them.
