002 tea + biscuits (locked to tyrion lannister)
Who: Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister
Broadcast: n/a
Action: First Breath
When: 27 October
( It seems that Sansa has quite a bit to make up for after having been gone for several moons and she means to start doing so as soon as she's cleared from quarantine. She unfortunately has nothing to wear aside from the jumpsuits provided to passengers as soon as they arrive in the Fleet and none of her fine things from before are still around. It's a bit disconcerting, yes, but she can at least make her hair look nice even if the rest of her is a lost cause. She hails Tyrion before coming over, not wanting to drop in unexpectedly, and finds her way to his quarters. )
I'm sorry I don't have anything better to wear but as soon as we get to a system where I can buy fabric, I intend to work on new gowns. For now, though, you get this.
( It's such a small thing to be hung up on but she's hung up on it nonetheless. One should look their best when trying to make amends. )
You'll forgive me, I hope?

[It would be easier if she felt the same way. It would make all of this more than worth it.]

I'd like to be your wife in truth, if you'd allow me. I don't know if you need me to be more explicit but...that's what I want.
( Sansa wishes she was wearing one of her own gowns and not one of these horrid jumpsuits. Her dresses are armor and she feels she needs some at the moment, talking about such intimate things. )
I know you'll want...to assert your rights, at some point, and that is something I have to prepare myself for. I haven't had good experiences. I would like to have good ones, of course, I just simply haven't. I don't know that I'll be able to rush into that.

Sansa, if you just want to be married - lord and lady - husband and wife? We will be, because that is what I want.
[He took her hand without pausing, no hesitation, his mis-matched eyes serious.]
We will be partners, and I will never, Ever take anything from you that you do not want to give. As I promised you on our wedding night.
no subject
I trust you, then. I always did, truly, I just didn't know if you were willing to be patient with me and still be husband and wife.

Lady Sansa Stark, of Houses Stark and Lannister, I have been waiting for you all my life. I do not think a while longer shall matter, do you?
no subject
No, I imagine it wouldn’t be a hardship.
( Sansa leans in and kisses Tyrion’s cheek again, lingering a bit longer this time. )
I could stay the night with you, if you allowed it. My quarters aren’t very inviting and I have no attachment to them yet.
no subject
[He knew he awoke some mornings with something hard between his legs, and it would be best to warn her beforehand.]
I shall remain, as you, celibate and faithful.
no subject
When you say it that way, it sounds like we’re taking vows and becoming septons. I think it will be a bit cozier than that.
( Sansa hopes so anyway. )
no subject
Well, I shall certainly not complain about being cozy with you, whatever the context.
no subject
( Sansa giggles in spite of herself, amused at the whole run of conversation. It certainly soothes her nerves to laugh. )
I always thought it might be nice to lay in bed with one's husband and just be close to one another.
no subject
[Is Tyrion's carefully worded compliment, that is followed by a laugh.]
We shall do so, then.
[A bow with hand to forehead, and then to heart. All while sitting!]
no subject
You are going to give me stomach cramps if you keep making me laugh, Lord Tyrion.
Sorry this got buried in my inbox! ><
[[And she had so little of it from the Lannisters.]
no subject
( It's much easier to be in the Fleet, Sansa realizes, and she feels a bit of a coward for seeking it out. It's been so long since she's had an easy life. )
no subject
[He offers her his hand, as he often did before she left, smiling.]
So what would make you happy right now, lady wife?
no subject
( Gods, but that's downright embarrassing to say out loud. )
no subject
[He opened his arms to her, giving her a hopeful little look.]
no subject
( Sansa's never had the chance at all to do this so she has no idea how it properly goes. )
Where do you think the best venue would be?
no subject
[He hopped off his stool, and offers her a hand, before he snorts softly.]
It is usually best in bed - but let us not get ahead of ourselves, eh?
no subject
( Sansa only wants him to be comfortable - anything they do in this realm is going to be new territory for her but if he's more comfortable going about it a certain way, well. Far be it from her to restrict his options. Sansa takes his hand and squeezes it a bit. )
But we could settle for a settee for now, if you'd like.
no subject
[Tyrion knows all too well he might get carried in a bed, and beautiful Sansa before him. So to be the gentleman she wished him to be -- he would keep his cuddling to completely innocent.]
no subject
( It does conjure feelings of warmth and familiarity, though, and that brings a smile to her face. )
no subject
[Yes, he is making a straight face. Such a completely straight face. Even as he leads her to the Entertainment Area and finds the appropriately sized sofa.]
no subject
Cuddling seems much more intimate to me. Come, sit with me?
no subject
I shall gladly sit with you.
