Allen Walker

[Walking into this room transports a person to the platform of an old fashion country train station. It’s a beautiful autumn day, with a gentle breeze blowing through. The entire area of the station seems to be surrounded by a forest of birch trees at the height of their autumn colors.]

[Any attempts to leave the platform itself get blocked by an invisible barrier. However, there is a station house attached to the platform with its doors wide open. Past the station house, there is a billboard full of old travel posters you can look at. On the other end of the billboard, under some shading and sitting on a bench, is Allen. By the suitcase next to his bench, it looks like he’s waiting for a train. Even from a distance, he seems to appear a bit...different. Not much, just maybe a bit older He doesn’t seem to notice your presence, being rather preoccupied with listening to music with earphones. And far past him, near the end of the platform, appears to be a lever that you’d usually find on the ground meant for switching tracks, but this one seems to be in reach.]

[What will you do? (A) Check out the station house, (B) look at the billboard, (C) go bother Allen, (D) see what that’s lever about, (E) Something else!? The choice is yours.]

[The first sign something is off is the gentleness of the scene. Alex doesn't often remember her dreams, but when she does they're full of vibrant colors and loud noises. The soft, quiet view is a bad sign, and she hides a shudder. Her tank top isn't warm enough for autumn, and she walks towards the station house to get away from the breeze. The initial plan is to take a look inside, but that's when she spots a familiar head of grandpa hair down the platform a ways, and lets out a laugh of relief.]

Allen! Dude, what are you doing here?

[She doesn't even notice the earphones as she takes off towards him, waving to get his attention.]

[Allen doesn't seem to notice right away- but that's largely because yeah, the earphones. He seems to be bobbing his head slightly to music as he hums to himself a tune that isn't really recognizable.]

[Also upon closer examine- it's very clear he looks a few years older than he normally does. Taller too, even if he's sitting. Timcanpy is also sitting on the other side of the bench from him, occasionally fluttering his wings]

it looks like something he'd see in watercolor paintings, or storybooks. he wants to approach allen, but allen doesn't even seem to notice him--maybe it's better that he doesn't bother him. he probably wants alone time...

he frowns then, glancing around, before he goes towards the station house. where is he, anyway? what is this place? ]

[A Riku approaches the station house, through the door he can see the inside the station. It's a fairly lit building, with the windows letting in sunlight from outside. There are no people inside, but it looks well used and careful for- and there’s plenty of things to see. ]

[Directly in front of the entrance, there is a desk that has a traveler's log book, left open with a few pens laying next to it. To the right, there’s a box labeled “Lost & Found” that seems to have a wide assortment of items, mixed up with one another. To the left, there is a book shelf with the sign “Baggage Claim”. The shelves seem to have their own items, neatly arranged. And in the far back corner, there is a box that seems to be almost hidden away. On the lid there is the words “RESTRICTED ACCESS: R.A. A.W. ONLY” painted in white paint. There seem to be a lock on this box as well, though it’s not clear if it’s locked at a glance.]

[...he's almost starting to not be surprised, when he finds himself suddenly transported to a strange place. he's a little unsettled by the platform, something he hasn't seen since his days at the Tower, but all he does is stuff his hands in his pockets and take in the surroundings.

the trees are nice. the station is obvious, the billboard might be worth it--the lever grabs and keeps his attention, even after he recognizes Allen on the bench. unfortunately, potentially-conscious humans take priority to his wanting to "push all the buttons", as it were.

so he'll go with (C), by walking smoothly over to the bench and having a casual seat next to him.]

[Closer up, it's clear that Allen looks older- more like how a twenty-three year old should actually look than what he normally looks like. He is listening to a music player with earbuds on, and Timcanpy flutters off the seat as Robin sits down.]

[Which from where Robin sits, the lever should be in clearer view as well if he looks towards it. It seems to be an old switch, it looks like it hasn't been used in a long time. There's two labels for each side the lever can be moved to: "A" and "N", with it currently be set to "A". There also seems to be an old warning sticker attached to the base of the lever.]

[But enough of that, Allen certainly notices when Robin sits down. He turns his head to look at him, pulling off one earbud.]

Robin...?

[What is he doing here?]

[Well, she knows what a train station is, but not how she got here. The first priority is always to find something familiar, so as soon as she spots Allen, she approaches him as fast as she can. He looks different, but maybe it's just her imagination?]

Allen? Is that you?

[Allen doesn't seem to notice Nightingale's presence at the moment, mostly because he's got his music playing loud enough to block out the sound of voices.]

[Well, this is new. Maybe a train will come and get them all out of here. Wouldn't that be hilarious? Crowley wanders around the platform, finally coming across Allen. He waves a hand at him, but gets no response.

The demon rolls his eyes behind his shades, turning to look at the nearby billboard, but talking to Allen all the same.]

So. Trains, huh? What's that all about?

[The billboard itself seems to be a mix of things. There's 3 posters: one of Paradisa, one of The Atroma logo and one of this symbol on a black background.]

[But inbetween the posters, there's numerous photographs. All of them seem to be photos that involve Allen at different points in his life. The earliest one looks to be Allen as a kid, smiling and hugging a very tall man with black hair, tan skin and golden eyes. The rest of the photos follow him through his life- through various points back home, in Paradisa- there's a number of them that have Crowley in them, both around the Paradisa poster and the Atroma poster. Sitting on the castle roof, riding in the Bentley, smugly eating at an expensive restaurant while Allen looks annoyed at the tiny portions, sitting in the waystation courtyards...things like that. ]

[There also seems to be a destination listing on the far side of the bulletin - but it just seems to give a loooong list of locations he's been. Though at the bottom of that there's a list for "FUTURE DESTINATIONS" that just has a single "?" underneath it]

[Allen meanwhile doesn't respond. Sure enough, he does look like an actual twenty-three year old instead of a teenager, and he's listening to a music player with the earbuds on- humming quietly to himself. He doesn't seem to hear Crowley, but that's likely because he has the music up too loud]

[Sokka has no idea what's going on, but his nature makes him want to know. As such, he makes a beeline for the station house. Because if there's secrets to be had, they're gonna be inside the house, right? That's just logic.

He opens the door slowly, peering around. ]

Uh...hi? Anyone?

[Beverly stands still, cautious, taking stock of her surroundings. She doesn't know how she got here - not that is particularly unusual these days - nor does she remember waking up. She's just... here, like in a dream.

As soon as she catches sight of Allen, she makes a beeline for the bench, but as she draws nearer to him, she slows her pace somewhat. He looks older and that gives her pause. Something very strange is going on here. Atroma, what have you done now?]

... Allen?

[A train station? These rooms prove ever more different and unique the more of them Wanda finds herself in. Though, it seemed more than a little fallacious to call this location a "room." Wanda instinctively begins to walk forward, taking in her new surroundings. She's curious to see what jumps out at her first this time.]

[She notices the white-haired stranger sitting on a bench, the lever and the suitcase sitting nearby. She can only guess that he is this room's "owner." She almost begins to walk over to him, intending to start a conversation. However, the billboard instead draws her eye. She looks it over, then looks back at the young man seated on the bench. He doesn't appear to be giving any indication that he's aware of her presence. Least, not at the moment.]

[Wanda walks closer to the billboard, giving the travel posters and other papers attached to it a careful inspection. She's not really sure what she expects to find, but she looks it all over for something, some sign to jump out at her.]

[ Max is starting to get the hang of this.... this whatever it is. This weird, abnormal thing that makes no sense. Still, she rolls with the punches, as it were.

The key to all of this is to investigate. And Max is good at that. Or she's just nosy. ]

So it's a train station this time...? I've never seen one quite like this.

[ She doesn't see Allen immediately - she's too focused on this big, giant, obvious station house. Of course she's going to investigate that first. After all, nothing's going anywhere. She has all the time in the world. ]

[it's strange, how this room makes hiro feel. he isn't used to places like this; woods are beyond his memories, for the most part, especially a forest like the one surrounding them.

[when hiro heads toward the station house and sees Allen, he changes course immediately.]

[A train station, huh... It's been a long time since Stefan's stepped foot in one, now that he thinks about it. He's gotta admit, so far, this isn't the weirdest dream he's walked into.

Since Allen's bonding with his music collection, Stefan figures, he might as well check out the station house and see if he can grab a ticket too.]

[ nanako's been to the train station in inaba a few times, so while this one doesn't really look like the one from home, it's still familiar enough to put her at ease. she doesn't recognize the man sitting on the bench, but he looks preoccupied by his music and nanako is hesitant to interrupt him.

after a few more moments of staring at her surroundings, nanako decides to take a peek in the station house. maybe she'll be able to find more information inside. ]

[It seems like . . . he's been here before, maybe, but that doesn't make sense, because he also knows he hasn't. He tries his best to shake the sensation, to distract himself with something, but there's nothing here that stands out as frighteningly as some of the rooms' decorations have. He knows Allen, but only by sight, and he feels compelled to stay away from the lever, as though touching it might start something he doesn't have the strength to stop.]

[So he crosses over to the billboard instead, scans them to see if anything catches his eye.]

[ zuko has been through these types of events before. add to that that he really doesn't want to be in allen's head, of all people's, so between all of the above options, bothering allen is 100% at the top of his list.

so he moves over to him, unceremoniously dropping next to him with a huff. ]

Allen.

[When Clay walks into this one, he immediately relaxes and lets out a sigh. Look, some of these dreams he's had have been shit. It's pretty good to be in a peaceful setting like this, even if it might change later.

But after a moment, he realizes... there's something missing. He widens his eyes, then feels the top of his head, and - his visor is missing. His visor is - Okay. Okay, this is just a dream, but he's had it in all his dreams, so why is it gone now?

Since it's a dream, he doesn't feel as much panic as he would if it went missing in the real world. But he still decides to look around for it, as the thought doesn't even occur that maybe, just maybe, it didn't make it to his dream. Since the station house is the first thing he sees, and the doors are wide open, he'll go ahead and head toward it.]
