Just throwing an idea out here. If anyone can find medicine that actually works on these ridiculous space colds (and lets me have some), I will knit that person as many ugly sweaters as they want. I promise, astronaut's honor, or whatever they say out here.

[ Of course, those on the Red Fish also have to deal with this colossal trainwreck of an adolescent in person. More or less. They're kind of cooped up in their sweet counselor office, having created a makeshift nest of blankets and pillows (one from the bed they would normally use, the rest from the couch in said office), though they are occasionally willing to leave the office. Mostly just for food, though if anyone is in the kitchen at these times, they will get to deal with this kid kind of giving them shifty eyes the entire time.

[Syeira can heal injuries, but she cannot do anything about illness. They'd need a druid or a priest for that. And so many of her friends have colds suddenly.

But! Even on Toril chicken soup is lauded as good for colds. And she may not be a great cook, but soup is easy. Of course, there's no chicken. But she figures fish would work right? She can skin and gut fish. And the ice planet has plenty available.

So when Chara wanders in the kitchen, they find the redhead captain working on a pot of soup. She turns her head and smiles.]

Well, it was supposed to be chicken soup, because half the fleet is suddenly sick. But I couldn't find chickens. So it's fish instead. I'm hoping it works.

Though they approach the subject of being offered food as they do any other sort of generosity-- with hesitation and skepticism. You know, just like every other kid. ]

Hey I know my cooking skills are pretty mediocre, but I swear I've never made anyone ill.

[She ladles soup into a bowl, and turns to offer it with both hands. There's nothing but generosity here.]
