because no one should go hungry
Who: Ramse, Sascha, Bigby + any curious Starstruck
Broadcast: n/a
Action: the Starstruck
When: now
[ It's been about two weeks since Ramse first met Sascha and he figures the kid's probably hungry again. But after all that talk of venom, he's doing things his way. He's talked his way into some medical equipment and draws his own blood into a thermos he bought on the space station, then sends Sascha a private message:
Sascha, meet me outside the Starstruck again.
That should be curiosity-inducing enough to get the puppypire to scoot on over.

puppypire i can't
Okay! I'm on my waaaaaay!
[ He won't run, but he definitely won't take any detours along the way. ]
Re: puppypire i can't
Hey. I've got something for you.

[ And he's leading Sascha onto his own ship. Don't mind all the blood still left in the cargo bay, it's dog blood, not human. They managed to clean most of it out but there's still some in the grills and such.
Do de do and further into the ship, towards the bunk rooms. And into Ramse's. He's ushering Sasha in and closing the door. ]

...Did something happen out there?
no subject
[ He knows what you're thinking. ]
Hopefully you won't have to.
[ Have the thermos. If Sascha is observant he'll notice that Ramse's sleeve is rolled up and his elbow is wrapped, right above a carved VII symbol. ]
no subject
...? I don't drink coffee. [ That's what he's assuming the thermos is full of for the moment, even if his eyes do automatically go to the exposed arm, curious. ]

He murmurs a soft thanks to the air and strides his way through the ship, just like he belongs there. He stops when he reaches a door, thumping on it solidly.]

And there stands a guy he's never seen.
Uh. ]
Yeah?

I'm here about Sascha.

[ He's not letting you in yet. What exactly do you want? ]
no subject
I'm making sure you're not doing something stupid with Sascha. Because he's an idiot who doesn't think anything through and I don't know you.
no subject
[ But he's letting Bigby in because he doesn't want this conversation overheard just yet. ]
Is there some reason I shouldn't?
no subject
I know. I smelt it on him. Something stupid is letting him near your throat, because I watched him eat an entire roast raw because he didn't have the impulse control to wait until he wasn't in public.
no subject
I didn't let him bite me, I drew the blood with a med kit.

She's grinning when she peeks her head around Ramse's doorframe, but also so openly curious that it's practically radiating off her.]
I thought you'd found Cole for a moment there, but apparently you've just got a type.
no subject
[ He's lying in bed on top of the sheets, and scoots over and beckons to her without sitting up. ]
Get in here and close that door, I'm done with guests for awhile. Ramse is closed for business.
[ When she steps inside she'll probably notice some medical equipment on the little table in his bunk room that certainly wasn't there before, but otherwise everything looks in order. He just looks mildly stressed out. ]
no subject
[She shrugs. Her point stands. But she's not letting that offer go to waste, crawling onto the bed beside him and curling against his side.]
You've gotten popular, then? I can't say I'm surprised. What's all the - [That's when she sees the medical equipment, and combined with his frazzled demeanor.] - Ramse, are you alright?
no subject
Yeah, I'm fine, just a little tired.
We don't have a med bay so I borrowed some supplies from another ship. And then I fed a vampire. He's more like a puppy, really. A clingy puppy. The dog's less clingy. Shaggy guy is his keeper, I guess.
[ What on earth is he talking about? Whatever, she smells nice, he's burying his face in her hair. ]
no subject
You fed a vampire. [She could get self-righteous about his safety and the risk involved in that and all those good things, but...]
What was it like?
[... she's Celeste.]
no subject
[ His head drops back to the pillow and the shoulder she's on shrugs a little bit. When he speaks again his voice is softer and she can tell he's thinking back to something. ]
It was hard enough living it, I can't watch anyone go hungry. We must all look like steaks on legs to him after awhile, you know? Someone should be feeding him.
no subject
Caleb, what did you do to this girl.
As Ramse continues, though, she gets a small, affectionate smile on her face, and leans in just enough to press a kiss to his cheek.]
You're sweet. It still surprises me sometimes, how sweet you really are. The puppy's quite lucky to have you, I don't know many people who would be that magnanimous about feeding the starving when it had to come from their own body. Regardless of what they'd lived through.
no subject
Sweet... [ He makes a little 'tch' sound, but he's smiling at her. ] Between the two of you people will think I've gone soft.
What have you been up to, anyway? Get a job on the station?
