[ Leto doesn't need a mask, thankfully. Any chemicals or poisons that enter his body are converted and broken down carefully, due to his Bene Gesserit heritage. A Duke's son must always know about poisons, the phantom voice chides him. Carefully, he sets aside a little time to correct the bodily process. It would not do to irritate the Worm.

As he wanders this polluted place, he comes across a small gathering of people playing chess. Old, diluted variation of chess, not like the kind he used to play.

Ten minutes later, he has taken over that corner as another person leaves in disgust. He twirls the piece in his fingers, a knowing smile on his face. ]

[Kitty pauses when she sees a familiar face in it's entirety at one of the tables.] Should I be worried you don't have a mask or just mildly annoyed that you don't need one?

[ Hermione is, unfortunately, one of the people the does need a mask, and she does her very best to wear it well. The fact that there is so much poison around isn't comforting and, more than anything else, she wants to try and find the source of it, to see if she can actually figure out a way to help these people and their moon. It doesn't seem right, just dropping in and trading before heading off again; they have powers and technology that could change their world. Why not use it?

Still, there's a moment or two where she feels like she's allowed to have a break and that's when she sees Leto. She's more than a little concerned about the lack of his mask and, for a moment, she frets, before she forces herself to remember that, first of all, he's a grown man that can take care of himself and, secondly, they don't know each other that well yet. It might come across as a little bit bossy - not for the first time in her life.

Instead, she walks over and sits down, smiling even if it might not be as obvious through her mask. ]
