[Y'all, Misty can't be the only one who hates this place, so let's all gather on the Iskaulit, safe from all that dark and rot down on the polluted moon and have ourselves a good time!

(Or at least, a pollution-free time).

[ He smiles calmly. Obi-Wan has always been good at presenting himself as a surety, someone who you could lean on. ]

You know a little of the Force and it will tell you when things go awry. And I'm sure what you're doing now is very helpful to Stefan.

It's the least I can do to keep this place running for him. I'm not as good as him though.

I'm sure that he would disagree. Or at least, not approve of trying to measure up to him.

But it's true: he knows so much more than I do. I've never been exactly what you'd call an intellectual.

[Still, she smiles a little.]

I'm learnin' a lot from him... I just don't know that I can do this on my own yet.

If it helps, I don't think he does it all on his own either.

No, I guess not.

[She picks up the teabag again, dunks it a few more times. There are still doubts there, about her suitability for this job, but she's thinking about what he's said at least. After a moment she looks back up at Obi-Wan.]

D'you want some tea?

I would never say no to that.

[ Says Obi-Wan, the consumptive tea-drink. ]

[Misty reaches under the cart to pull out two teacups and pours the tea.]

Y'know, I never drank much tea 'til I came here. Least, not hot tea. Ice cold sweet tea - now that's what you need on a hot summer afternoon.

[Smiling, she hands him one of the cups.]

[ He takes it graciously. ]

My Master always drank tea. After that, my fate was sealed.

Is that a Jedi thing then? Drink some tea, meditate, kick some Sith ass?

[She's joking. Kind of.]

That is usually how it goes.

[ Though kicking Sith ass is harder than it looks. ]

Guess I better start drinking more tea then!

A most wise decision.

[ He sips his tea calmly. ]

[She laughs.]

You're a weird guy, Obi-Wan.

[Misty, look at your life. Who are you calling weird? But she sips her tea too.]

[ He hums lightly. ]

I never saw it that way until now. Mostly, I look like the ideal Jedi to outsiders.

[Shrug.] I don't know what a Jedi is supposed to look like.

Calm, collected, for the most part. We're trained not to let our emotions get in our way of doing our duty.

[ A concept he's been finding hard lately, but still believes in. ]

Don't think I'd make a very good Jedi then.

If it helps, I don't think you're missing much.

[ He takes very little offense to these kind of sentiments. Being a Jedi was hard. It demanded a lot from you. ]

[She tilts her head, curious.]

It's more than I've only ever been a Jedi. It's something I started as a child.

[ Which allows for little to no imagination of what his life could have been. ]

Guess there ain't no running from what you are, for anyone.

I am a Jedi.

[ Being anything else - contemplating anything else just doesn't happen with Obi-Wan. ]

It is who I am. But perhaps being a Jedi needs to evolve.

Evolve like how?

I'm not sure myself.

[ Introducing reforms into the Jedi culture sounds . . . well, insane. Which is why he's left it up to Ahsoka and Anakin for the most part. He's followed their lead. ]

But I don't think I'll be the one to spearhead any reforms.
