As it is, there's been a lot of rough, and no diamonds in sight.
Consequently, some vendor's attempts at selling her a twenty-four pack of industrial-strength chemical cleaner are abruptly made moot as arms slide around her back and beneath her knees and WHEE, HERE WE GO.]
A-Ah! ...Jojo?
[NOW THERE'S A PICKUP LINE FOR YOU. "I NEED YOU RIGHT NOW" OH MY GOD TALK ABOUT UNIRONICALLY ROMANTIC AS SHIT. And also funny because it quite literally is a pickup line, as evidenced by...well. Here she goes.
Evidently it's working, though, because rather than remaining flustered, it's instinct to wrap her arms around his neck and snuggle right in on impulse, even before trying to find out what on earth is going on.]
Hi! Where are we going? Haha, Jojo, come on, I could walk on my own, really...!
[translation: DO NOT PUT HER DOWN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.]
no subject
[...Still. It wouldn't be Joseph if he didn't tease a little. He starts to dip down like he's going to set her down—he absolutely will not—with a sly grin underneath his mask.]
You sure? [he sing-songs.] I'm pretty sure I can walk faster. Plus, I know where we're going. But if you can walk on your own...
no subject
No, no, I changed my mind! Jojo, I changed my mind, dooooooooooon't!
[She's, like, 75% sure he's teasing, of course, but that remaining 25% is prevalent, and a firm reminder of why it's always dangerous to gamble with a Joestar.]

Alright! Don't worry, I've got you. I promise your feet won't touch the ground until we get to the Caprine.
[And now she at least knows where Joseph's whisking her away to! In case the shuttle that he's stopping outside of wasn't a good indication that they weren't staying on the moon. Joseph gets the door on the shuttle open with a bump of his hip, already keeping true to his word that her feet won't touch the ground.]
no subject
These masks really are terrible. She can't even nuzzle up for a pleasant mid-carry snuggle, with all this plastic and metal and glass in the way.
Once they're in the shuttle, though, things are familiar, albeit just a different kind of tedious. Trading the open air for the cramped quarters of the shuttle isn't much of a trade, even with all of the pollution outside.]
Mm, so that's where we're going! What's on the Caprine, hmm? Your captain's quarters?
[GET IT, SUZIE.]

FINN - OTA
His favorite thing to do, though, is browse the file directory for the ridiculous things Atroma sent people around Calibrations. And he has a lot of questions - often about Earth culture, since it seems to be so prevalent.
The other place he's likely to be found is on the Iskaulit, spending a lot of time with the Jedi there....]

Are you settling in well?
[She leans casually in the doorway, holding a mug of freshly brewed tea from the dispenser in one hand and a piece of fruit in the other.]
no subject
Hey, thanks! I thought we couldn't get much resupply in this place. Where'd you find these?
[Is he using the pumpkin spice protein as an apple dip?]
Oh, yeah. Not too different from home here, except the food's better. [Yes, he did just say that.] Miss one of my friends, but I know she's doing all right back home so I'm not worried.
no subject
Occasionally, we do get supplies when we travel from planet to planet. There is a small pantry aboard the ship but it mostly has more of the usual suspects.
[The pumpkin spice protein might be a nice dip? She's tried the protein thing herself but not as a dip. That might be good? Clearly she needed to try it.]
The food is better? I suppose you are fortunate to have arrived then!
[You poor thing.]
no subject
I'd say so. [He munches on the dipped apples - tastes good to him.] We haven't been attacked once yet, so it's already better than where I was. As for the food, picture this only with like one flavor.
no subject
[She smiles, her violet eyes lighting up with excitement.]
That must have been dreadful - only one flavor. I would give anything to have some food from home - even horse meat is better than this.
[She gestures to the goop he's currently dipping his apple in.]

And since landing on the YuckMoon™, those visits have only gotten more frequent — like today, for example, when she seems to have rustled up a couple bags of shopping purchases and hauled them over to the Caprine instead of the Bloodsport, quite possibly for no better reason than that it was a shorter trip, and she was in a hurry to get her mask off as fast as possible.
Which means there's some new and definite clunking around going on, and if investigated, one might just discover Suzie setting up shop to trim colorful fabric into wing shapes, evidently with a crafty outcome in mind.]
no subject
Hey! How's it going?
no subject
[TECHNICALLY NOT UNTRUE. They are still definitely her friends. They are also a lot more than her friends but this is polite company we're talking about.]
Mm, I hope I'm not in the way or anything! I just wanted to work on things for the big event that's coming up, and the Bloodsport was farther away from where I was...wearing those masks all the time is really awful, isn't it? They stick on my face and feel so big and clunky!
no subject
[He shakes his head a little ruefully.] It's not the first time I've been in a mask for a while. Doesn't bother me too much, but if you're not used to it I could see why.

busts in on this; Iskaulit or smth some day after Qing's met Pinkie nbd HOPEFULLY THIS IS OK FHJAKSH
Finn's face is a new one - even though they share a ship, he's somehow managed to miss the man entirely. When he gets up from watering the plants (their weekly watering, all they'll need for now), he spots Finn and offers a smile and a friendly wave.]
no subject
You're helping with the plants here? Looks good.
no subject
Just a couple of the succulents. Most of it's tended more generously by Beverly and a couple of others. [Peering upward and idly noting his face (and the fact that it's definitely a new one for him), he tilts his head and offers a small hand.] I don't think we've met; I'm Qing-Yuan.

Never been on a ship with a garden before. I think it's a good touch. [Rey would like it.]

But he can most definitely be found in the kitchen being somewhat horrified and intrigued by the food selection. He might in fact be making himself more coffee than any person should be drinking, but the whole thing is somewhat of a thrill, so he's seemingly taking advantage while the opportunity is right in front of him. Not to mention, the weird food situation? While it is, yes, weird- it still could be worse. There could be no food. Even if Dean is kind of mostly not too interested in eating the crap.
Also? The likelihood that he's coming back from the moon smelling like an obscene amount of whiskey is, well, proooobably pretty high. But let's not point out the fact that he's not even remotely acting like he had a drink or fifty. Man can hold his booze. ]

[So, there comes a point where Joseph admits defeat, but rather than immediately sit up, he removes his pillow out from underneath his head and pelts it directly at Dean. Then he sits up.]
Go to sleep, [he says in a harsh whisper so as not to disturb any of the others who were lucky enough to fall asleep before the pacing started.]
no subject
But yeah, that sure is a pillow coming straight for his head. Dean only flinches sort of halfway, but manages to grab the thing somewhere between mid air and colliding with his face. He stuffs it under his arm and stares through the dim light, eyebrows raised. ]
Keeping you up? [ Ya think, Dean? ]
no subject
[Joseph has to reach out and pull Cloudy back into the bed beside him because she's about to hop down. Where she might want to go is anyone's guess, but Joseph doesn't feel like having to wrangle his dog on top of everything else. He pulls her into his lap and rubs at both her cheeks with his hands.]
If you can't sleep, at least go somewhere else to do that.
no subject
[ That's actually a legit question, and Dean, for all kinds of intents and purposes, tosses back the pillow. He's not actually looking for a fight right at this moment, nor an argument, but he's willing to concede the point that he's not being a particularly convenient person to keep around. Even so, he doesn't feel like dragging his ass out of here, but he'll do it if it's... expected of him. He understands group dynamics, at least. ]
