My best friend's an asshole. [But that makes her smile. She's got a lot of love for Winter, nothing she'd say to him in a million years. That's now how soldiers talk anyway, and she'd just make him unhappy if she got stupid at him.]

She knows what it feels like when she runs across someone like Winter or Maine. A whole planet like that?
