[ some of you may have noticed that winn has been uncharacteristically quiet for the past...16 days. he's not really sure how to address the elephant in the room - he knows these two weeks and change have been hard on the people he loves but for him it's like no time has passed and the dissonance is hard to bridge.

it's a good thing he has a not at all unhealthy coping mechanism set in place. ]

You know, if we're entertainment on a reality show, the least they can do is give us like a recap - you know your basic [ in a tv announcer impression ] here's what you missed on the Fleet - or - last week, on the young and the Drifting - [ he rubs the back of his head before shaking it ] Well, maybe talking about the 'least they can do' isn't such a great plan...first order of business - what'd I miss? He maturely rolls his eyes and is very tempted to try and stand up straight out of Winn's reach but he's pretty sure he isn't that tall] I can't get sick, but nice try.

..wait, really? You can't get sick?

[ he's not sure whether to be more suspicious or more envious, so he balances both emotions in about equal amounts for now ]

Not naturally. [don't be envious, it isn't all that great] Either it's because I heal faster than most, or I've just been really lucky the past ten years.

Scoring super healing is pretty lucky, I vote both.

I wouldn't call it super healing, really - it isn't instant, like Logan's.

Above average healing is still pretty super for us normal to actually kinda slow healers.

[ he nods. ]

How fast is it?

I - yeah, that's true.

For small stuff, it's pretty quick. Bruises and cuts, along those lines. The more serious the injury, though, the longer it takes.

I can take a lot of damage, though.

[like getting thrown though a car and being fine, normal stuff]

No, no, I mean - it's just like anyone else getting an injury, I'm not immune to pain. Getting thrown through something still hurts a hell of a lot, it just . . . heals quicker. Like - hitting fast forward on the devices, like if you're watching a movie - that's what it's called, right?

Right. Besides - I'd be more worried over hurting someone by accident, rather than getting hurt.

I dunno, you seemed pretty precise and badass with the whole Tarzan routine.

That is - still a lot smaller than what I'm used to, wow. Is it easy to customize them?

[he can't help but laugh, though] Poor thing.

Easy? [ like he just asked if the earth is flat ] It took commitment, and time, and money, and camping out all night in front of tech stores. And some morally gray area actions. But she's worth it - ain't she a beauty? I wish you could see her in action.
