[It's your average day on the Iskaulit. Absolutely nothing seems out of place initially, but without any warning- you might find yourself or your friends experiencing some problems. What's up on that?

In other words, it's an Iskaulit mingle with a twist! Come on in everyone! You don't need to interact with Sora to have it effect you, so feel free to start your own threadstarter! Or talk to Sora, that's cool too. ]

How did you even come about having your abilities? Were they given to you, or were you born with them?

[mistyday]

I was born with them. All witches are, but it might take a while before our powers start to manifest and they don't all come at the same time.

[reconstitution]

What came to you first? Oh- if you don't mind my asking.

[mistyday]

[Misty hesitates, though at this point, it ain't exactly a secret anymore. Lots of people know and no one has tried to hurt her yet (though Robb she's still leery of) for it, and Winter's one of her best friends' here so...]

The power of Resurgence. Resurrection. But not like zombies, like Jesus and Lazarus.

[Still, she's worried. How's he gonna react?]

I can imagine that it's caused you trouble.

[ That must be a hard power to wield, both in using it and living with the consequences. How does she decide who or what to bring back and what to return to the cycle? He typically thinks that what's dead should stay that way, but if the power was accessible, he doesn't know if his opinion would change.

It's definitely not something that exists in his world. ]

It must have been scary.

[Her shoulders relax and she lets out a sigh. It's okay, he's okay, of course he would understand.]

I'm not scared of my powers, just... other people.

[ He can understand a little bit about having powers that are intimidating to other people. She gives life, he takes it away. Honestly, hers are the ones that should be revered. People tend to be afraid of things they don't fully understand. ]

That's smart.

[mistyday]

[She looks surprised that he would say so.]

You think? I hate being afraid.

[reconstitution]

It's better to be afraid and ready for what people can do than being brave and blindsided by cruelty.

[ It's not exactly what he wants to articulate, but she'll get the intention, he thinks. ]

Guess that's the practical thing, ain't it?

Not the best thing, but it keeps you alive.

But it's different, here. I'm different.

Here, I think it's safe to say no one gives a fuck about your powers- just you.

[ She's charming, and wonderful. Her powers don't define her here, they're just added benefits of her company. ]

Not a bad place to call home.

[Misty smiles and ducks her head bashfully.] No, it's not. Plenty of people I'd be proud to call family too.

There's people I don't know what I'd do without, anymore.

[ The world is a whole lot darker without some people in it. Misty included. ]

[He's included too.]

I'm glad. You deserve it.

[She smiles.]

Now, try again to move something again. Should work better now that you're not as freaked out.

[ He echoes the sentiment with a brief flicker of a smile before turning to focus on the candelabra once again. It seems easier this time, at least. Bucky outstretches his arm again and raises his hand with a gentle flick of his wrist. The candelabra comes upward with more grace this time, and he floats it a few feet above the ground before trying to bring it toward them.

Very carefully. ]

You did it!

[Excited, Misty puts a hand out to give him a high five.]

[reconstitution]

[ His focus turns to Misty, so the candelabra drops to the ground, but she's right. He did it. Even if it was for a short amount of time.

It takes a moment to be sure he's not going to launch the thing at her head, but he returns the high five. ]

[mistyday]

[Unfortunately now comes in the other end of their power swap - Misty is suddenly much much stronger than she realizes, and when she gives him the high five... Well, there's a lot of force behind it.]

[reconstitution]

[ The force of the high five knocks him over, and he has to actually process that turn of events. That is a new power for her. Dull pain throbs in his palm and up his arm like he just smacked his hand into a wall straight on.

He sits back up, looking very bewildered by it. ]
