Iskaulit Mingle - Problems with Psychics
Who: Anyone on the Iskaulit!
Broadcast: If you'd like?!
Action: Iskaulit!
When: Today, as Sora's augment glitch starts.
[It's your average day on the Iskaulit. Absolutely nothing seems out of place initially, but without any warning- you might find yourself or your friends experiencing some problems. What's up on that?
In other words, it's an Iskaulit mingle with a twist! Come on in everyone! You don't need to interact with Sora to have it effect you, so feel free to start your own threadstarter! Or talk to Sora, that's cool too. ]

[lively in what way, you ask? perhaps the sudden surprised yelp and sputtering you may hear if you're in the vicinity is an answer to that question. a minute or so later, you might find yourself being approached by one (1) soaking wet Kuroba Kaito who is holding an equally as wet library book]
. . .
You don't happen to have a hair dryer, do you?
no subject
[ Aoko had set up shop in a quiet corner, with a couple of books, a sketchpad, and a small stack of what look to be pieces of robot?? ]
What the heck did you do to that book?
no subject
Why the heck are you assuming it's my fault?
[gives the book a small shake. a feeble attempt to dry it out. . . some]
no subject
[ She sighs. (But her lips are totally twitching, shh, don't look now.) ]
Come here.
no subject
[THIS IS UNCOMFORTABLE, AFTER ALL. with a grump, he approaches, his shoes squeaking and squishing with every step he takes]
no subject
[ For all she knows, it could have been one hell of a prank gone wrong. ]
Sit.
[ Propping her book open carefully on her lap, she gets started on shimmying out of her sweatshirt. ]
What even happened, anyway? Were you trying to set up some water balloons or buckets for people to walk under?
no subject
[although he almost wishes it was, because somehow the idea of him messing up a practical joke and accidentally drenching himself was slightly less embarrassing than what really happened. a heavy sigh escapes Kaito's mouth as he plops into the ground, sets the damp book aside, and starts removing his shoes and socks]
And I don't know what happened. I was minding my own business reading a book, when suddenly a huge stream of water appeared outta nowhere and decided I needed an impromptu shower.

[ She pauses, frowning, with her sweater halfway over her head. ] Huh? [ With a muffled 'oof' under her breath, she wrestles the garment the rest of the way off. Her hair is an absolute bird's nest by this point, please don't point and laugh. ]
Out of nowhere, really? Like the way they sometimes used to do things? [ Salt and Pepper, and the Echoes. ]
[ She scoots forward, shifting robot parts out of the way, and drapes the sweater over his hair, rubbing gently. ]
no subject
Exactly how they used to do things, actually. Only I don't remember any of them spontaneously starting a water war.
[but compared to, say, Isabel's handcuffs and friendship closet, perhaps this was much easier to deal with]
no subject
On the bright side, at least it's not candy dinosaur slobber.
no subject
Ha. I guess every rain cloud has a silver lining.
[GET IT?? RANDOM SPLASH OF WATER, RAIN COULD. . . nevermind. reaches up to run his fingers through his hair and flatten it some]
I hope your sweater doesn't start smelling 'cause you got it all wet.
no subject
It's fine, it's fine. I'll just make you wash it.
[ A hum. ]
But it's weird ... Nothing's happened to me yet.
no subject
Since when was I your laundry guy?
[HE KIDS]
. . . and I guess you're lucky. Cross your fingers and hope it stays that way.

She's about to snap at the offending idiot when she sees who it is.
. . .
What]
What did you do.
no subject
Nothing! Everyone always assumes it's my fault, even when it isn't. Can't you tell I'm the victim here?
[points to the puddle forming at his feet, as though for emphasis]
no subject
You're certainly the victim of something. What happened?
no subject
[he delivers his response in an utter deadpan, already knowing how ridiculous it sounds]
A stream of water appeared out of thin air and soaked me to the bone. No, I have no idea where it came from.
no subject
[the disbelief in her tone is strong]
no subject
Don't look at me. To my knowledge, I haven't angered any water mages during my time on this fleet yet.
[YET. also he is putting the damp book aside so he can wring the water out of his shirt now]
no subject
[YET. She crosses her arms as she watches him, then sighs]
Maybe you angered something mischievous instead.
no subject
[is she wearing her cloak]
no subject
[Tempest please.
Also she is, yes]
no subject
[oh good]
[grabs the edges of her cloak and starts to dry himself off with it]
no subject
[what in the world do you think you're doing!!
. . . she just rolls her eyes and reaches up to untie it, then hold it out to him] Honestly.
no subject
[yes, Clover is a good big sis. immediately starts using the cloak as a towel for his hair]
. . .
Y'know, I feel kinda bad about the book.
