Iskaulit Mingle - Problems with Psychics
Who: Anyone on the Iskaulit!
Broadcast: If you'd like?!
Action: Iskaulit!
When: Today, as Sora's augment glitch starts.
[It's your average day on the Iskaulit. Absolutely nothing seems out of place initially, but without any warning- you might find yourself or your friends experiencing some problems. What's up on that?
In other words, it's an Iskaulit mingle with a twist! Come on in everyone! You don't need to interact with Sora to have it effect you, so feel free to start your own threadstarter! Or talk to Sora, that's cool too. ]

[Not in so many words, anyway. The assumption had existed, illogically, until all of the yelling had happened.]
no subject
[ Huff. Not that he's a grumpy old man or anything... ]
no subject
[He will neither confirm nor deny.]
This sort of thing shouldn't be possible. I can't imagine how you could've pulled it off, so.
no subject
[ He flicks a hand and - ugh, it's water, all of it, all water, and he wants to just... Lie on the ground and moan like he did way back when. ]
Maybe we should go find Sorey. It might give us something to focus on to swap back.

With a quiet sigh Mikleo pulls out his communicator, poking away at the messages.]
I'll let him know, but he might not respond for a while. He was elbows-deep in the engine when I left, and he can be in there for hours without checking his comm sometimes.
[In other words, they might be on their own.]

No point going over there and buggin' him about it. It might not even last that long.

[It's hard to be optimistic when you're missing a huge part of yourself, especially when it's been replaced by something so... alien. In a way it would be easier if it were earth or fire- at least then he'd have a better feel for what it's like to handle the element in some way, even though it's always been connected via water.
Wind is on the opposite side of the spectrum. He has no experience with this.]
...What should we do in the meantime, though? Just... wait it out?
no subject
[ Zaveid crosses his arms, trying to think how this could have happened and how they could undo it. He wasn't even hanging around with Mikleo when he lost his wind, and it's impossible for him to figure things out - all he can do is shrug his shoulders, turning back around and stalking over to a nearby wall so he can flop down and lounge against it.
He turns his head to look over at Mikleo, just shrugging. ]
Looks like we're gonna have to just settle for exploring each other's powers... Intimately.
no subject
You don't have to phrase it that way... I don't know the first thing about using wind.
no subject
It's not that different from all the others. It's just there, inside you. It's... Kinda like breathing, I guess.
no subject
[Sure, water comes easily to him, but switching things around can't be that easy... and artes still require plenty of focus.
Though he knows better than to be trying artes, at least.]
no subject
[ Pushing himself up, he stretches his arm up before he huffs a noise. ]
Close your eyes and focus.

[Well, okay, dumb question. It's not like there's a real wind on the ships, so the air is the best they've got. He sighs quietly and does as instructed, trying to get a feel for what's around them. The air evades him at every turn, slipping through his fingers- intangible. It makes sense, but when he's so used to feeling and holding his element close, it's surreal.]
...It's as whimsical as you are.
no subject
[ It makes him laugh, and he shifts, tilting his head up and closing his eyes. He misses the feel of it already, but... ]
Don't try to control it. Just go with it, like you're it's friend. Like - currents in a river.
no subject
It takes a while, but eventually he feels it- the slightest tickle, dancing over his fingers.]
...That's weird.
no subject
It's just like swimming, except it's all in the world around you.
[ He closes his eyes, basking in the memories - even though it's barely been any time at all. ]
no subject
...It backfires, though, blasting Zaveid's hair like the sudden gust of a hair drier on full. Oops.]
no subject
The sudden rush of air in his face does shock him, though, and he splutters a little. ]
Jeez, Mikleo! Watch what you're doin'!
no subject
Sorry, sorry! I was trying to cheer you up!

no subject
Technically it is, if you think about it. You've never been with water before, right?
no subject
[ Huffing, he pretends to have not heard the rest of the question. ]
Just be a little more gentle, yeah? Don't push too hard. The wind has ripples just like water does and it'll splash you just as roughly.
no subject
Mikleo frowns, shifting back into his former position to try again. He reaches out - more gently this time, because he can follow basic instructions, thank you - and this time it's a softer wind that blows around Zaveid, more of a tickle than a shove.
...Ah. That is familiar.]
Like that?
