You can check out anytime you'd like.. [Hotel Corona Mingle]
Who: The Fleet!
Broadcast: If you want
Action: Hotel Corona or Planet Ikke
When: December 7th onward

[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.
It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.
Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.
In order words: it's a mingle!! Everyone get in! ]

Mikleo | OTA
[As usual, the best thing about being invisible to most people is getting to sightsee without having to pay an arm and a leg to get in. Mikleo isn't too interested in most of the games or the hotel itself, but he's drawn immediately to the museum, wandering through at a casual pace, taking notes, and - if anyone happens to see or greet him - talking animatedly about what he's seen or discovered.
This place is great. Not because it's accurate - heavens no, have you seen the shoddy quality of these exhibits? - but because the contradictory information is creating a really fascinating puzzle that's just begging to be solved. And he's definitely seen some of these items on other planets.
When he's not exploring or taking notes, he'll venture into a cafe or two to check out the customer book selection, but he won't linger too long unless he finds something interesting. Floating books tend to gather unwanted attention unless the staff is used to invisible customers... in which case they just kick him out for not ordering anything.]
( b. Redshift District: he just came here to look around, okay. )
[Literally the only reason Mikleo came to this section is because it's 18+, and that means Sorey is too young to be allowed in, so he'd decided to check it out and see what they would be missing. As it is, though, he's very much a fish out of water here. Some of it's fine, nothing he hasn't seen before, but others... yeah, the deeper he dives, the more he thinks that it's probably better that Sorey isn't allowed in this place. A pure-hearted Shepherd shouldn't be seeing this kind of thing.
Honestly, he probably shouldn't either, but the signs are distracting and the pathways dizzying enough that he's pretty well lost before too long. Mind guiding him out before he finds the strip club? ...or take him there if you want to see him die of embarrassment. His fate is in your hands.]
( c. Ikke: the cold never bothered him anyway. )
[As soon as Mikleo finds out that the planet below is all ice and snow, he can't leave the hotel fast enough. He is gone, gone. It helps that it's not even aggressively terraformed; he's been hungry for another natural planet for a while now, and it's his element. It's perfect for him.
Step 1: Roll in the snow for no less than an hour.
Step 2: Do you want to build a snowman?
Step 3: Invisible snowballs thrown by invisible people at very confused tourists.
Step 4: Can seraphic artes be used to build ice sculptures?
Step 4.5: Find out if seraphic artes can be used to build ice sculptures.
Step 5: Die happy, because this place is the best.
Basically he's just here to play and experiment with his artes, so if anyone needs an excuse to be self-indulgent...]
( d. Wild Animal Card Matching Game )
[Come at Meebo with a prompt for random shenanigans.]
((as per usual: resonance permissions.))
C
He's here because any new planet is worth investigating, in his opinion. He's bundled up in a ridiculous amount of layers, but that's not going to stop him from bitching. Though, he is finding a bit of fun by drawing things in the snow with his flames - a sunburst, a bird of some sort, a music note or two...
... Until he spots Mikleo rolling around in the snow. He stops his fire-arting long enough to make his way over, grinning. ]
Havin' fun there?
no subject
Well, too late now, so he sits up as casually as he can and dusts snow out of his hair, propping himself up with one hand in the fluff. He's not even shivering, the watery prick.]
...It's my first time seeing natural snow.
no subject
[ Don't mind him, he's a cold wimp. ]
no subject
[The perks of having a water/ice affinity. He scoops up a bundle of snow, idly rolling it between his hands.]
I like it. I've made snow before, but watching it fall and gather naturally... it's different.
no subject
[ He watches him playing with the snowball, and being the naturally fidgety person he is, scoops up some snow of his own to do the same! ... Except it's super freakin' cold and this was a mistake jfsdkl but he "toughs" it out. Yep. ]

Yet it's all so beautiful and new and amazing, she can't help but stare at the landscape around her in wonder. But then... she feels something... that familiar soft hum of magic. So, naturally, she follows it.]
Whoa!
[She sees the sculpture before she sees Mikleo.]
That's so cool!
no subject
Oh, hey. Not bad, right?

[He reaches down to scoop up a handful of snow, gesturing with his free hand. With a flash of light, it turns into ice.]
Water seraph, remember?

That's about all I can do. With water anyway. My telekinesis is getting better though!

In fact Allen had almost forgotten his earlier anxieties about going. It was only when he was stepping out of the store with a bag in hand just at the same moment that Mikleo was passing by, did he suddenly remember those anxieties - in full force.
!!!!!]
- Gah! Quick!
[And then Allen, momentarily forgetting that Clay can't even see Mikleo, yanks on his boyfriend's wrist and then opts to dive for the cover of hiding behind a front store display. ]
no subject
But once they're outside, Allen suddenly yanks Clay aside and hides them both behind a display.]
Gah - What?!
[He can't really tell if anyone's there, so Clay just squints a little at Allen with confusion, though he'll still remain hidden.]
Did you see someone, or...?
no subject
And that's... odd... so Mikleo can't help venturing closer, poking his head around the corner.]
Allen? Are you alright?
no subject
Ah- M-Mikleo! Hello!
Everything's fine! Just-
Hello!
no subject
[That confused look turns to...
Some... weird, displaced bit of air. It's like the graphics used to show that someone's obviously invisible in a video game, and Clay ends up squinting as a result. Ugh, he knows looking for too long will probably just give him a headache. But is that...?]
Mikleo?
[He's a little too weirded out by how, well, weird this is to remember that oh, right, Mikleo kind of saw them exit an adult store.]
weird, i tracked the thread but got no notif 8[

[Says the least sympathetic captain ever, rolling the base for a snowman.]
I said you'd need a thicker coat to be out here.
no subject
[In his size anyway. Even then it's kinda big on him.]
Doesn't change that it's freezing out here!

[Do you want to build a snowman]

Six feet of snow in this area. At least four inches of permafrost, possibly more. Will have to dig to make sure. Mana seems in short supply compared to the last green planet, which is a blessing and a curse. End entry, thank you.
[He's just noticed Mikleo, judging by the way his face lights up. It's very subtle compared to some people, but there's genuine relief in the gentle rise of his eyebrows and the curve of his lips.]
Ah, Mikle--
[Despite wearing a coat that only reaches his knees, he's somehow found a way to slip on the snow. He holds out his hands for balance but it's too late; he goes sliding headfirst into a deep snowdrift and then it's only his boots sticking out.
Rest in peace.]
no subject
....
Are those feet?
Mikleo abandons the arte he'd been working on, letting it drift away harmlessly, and hurries to the poor person trapped under the snow. He skids to a stop in front of the snowdrift and thrusts his hand out, as if to push someone; the snow around the body inside blows away as if caught in a strong force of wind, revealing-]
Oh! Belthazar. Are you okay?
[Have a hand up, buddy.]
no subject
T-thanks. I'm all right-- I suppose some things you simply do not grow out of.
[Also, he's still shorter than Mikleo. DAMN IT.]
Were you training?
no subject
Training... yeah, I guess you could call it that. I'm experimenting with how fine-detailed I can get with my artes.
[Though it might really be a stretch to call his growing forest of ice sculptures "training"...]
