[Since hearing of it from Beverly, Jeyne visited the gardens at least twice in a week. With her lessons in medicine increasing, it seemed a wise idea to test the various plants and determine what sort of use they might have. With small samples, she is able to experiment and test, all mainly with herself (as she wouldn't want to subject anyone else to this.) Some plants are recognizable or close to what she knew in her world. For the rest? It's a guessing game.

Her latest project is a sweet smelling salve. When not attempting to mix it with other plants, she rubs it gently on her wrists, smelling the aroma with a small smile.]

Blue Fish

[From one type of experimenting to another. With very few patients to treat, Jeyne has begun to occupy herself with different skills, determined to learn them and no longer be a wastrel. She practices her cooking when able, sometimes not burning the meal and slowly making something that looks nearly appetizing. She continues her lessons with Beverly in medicine, dutifully taking notes. When not with Beverly, she reads over all the information she compiled, committing it to memory and practicing in her head. There are times when she wanders to the cargo deck, toying with her bow (sans arrows), muttering to herself as she works at her aiming.

It's a bit difficult without a target or arrows, but she doesn't intend to injure anyone...even if it would help improve her medical training.]

[Kitty hasn't been traveling to the Iskaulit as regularly since they arrived at the hotel. There hasn't been much time to spare between work and play, but she still stops in when she can for a good workout in the gym. Today, she heads to the gym by way of the gardens out of some protective instinct, wanting to make sure they're being tended to, not that she's ever been the one to do it. But it wouldn't be the first time she looked out for things in a subtle sort of way.

She doesn't recognize the girl sniffing her wrist, but when has that ever stopped Kitty from speaking to someone?

And, yes, Kitty is in close fitting workout clothes that show off her midriff.]

[He's on the Iskaulit often enough that he's beginning to be a familiar face there; the Caprine's fine and all, but the larger facilities on the Iskaulit make him feel more at home. The gardens are usually a good place to find a quiet spot to read - usually whatever medical texts he can find - or even just lounge for awhile.

He's occasionally run into other people there, but he doesn't often run into someone who seems to have a purpose in the gardens beyond just wandering around.]

[ Hermione, with her own mini potions lab and garden on the Iskaulit, spends more time than she might be willing to admit travelling between the library and the cauldron, letting things boil and settle while she gets herself a new book to read or something to do on her communicator. It's during one of these trips that she spots someone else in the other garden and she pauses, her lips turning up into a smile. Hovering at the doorway, she pauses for a moment before she steps inside, not wanting to startle the other woman. ]

Something smells nice.

[Sokka's making his usual rounds of checking up on everyone when he comes across her and her bow. A smile crosses his face, because there's little he likes more than a woman who can kick ass and take names on her own- or at least be willing to learn. He's all about lady empowerment (at least, since the last girl he poo-poohed on such matters handed his ass to him on a sliver platter). ]

[Robb's voice rings out across the cargo bay from behind Jeyne. He's leaning against the bulkhead door with that same smile he's given her a hundred times before, teasing her gently.]

[Robb arrives at Jeyne's room late in the evening, somewhat surprised that he did not find her in his room instead. He doesn't knock and lets himself in as quiet as possible.

He wanted to come earlier but his duty as a security officer prevented him to do so.]
