He would be more worried about that whole looks-like-lava thing, but it's not like he needs to to go near....
But the robot is protesting the floating thing that looks a bit like Asteffiel took his pants off and draped them over something in an attempt to make it look like a shrub. ]
It is not weird, it's cute.
[ The robot obviously disagrees that the Shadow Fiend is cute, or normal, and isn't letting the minion follow Asteffiel. ]
{b}[ Minion dealt with - either Asteffiel leaving it behind, or someone helping him get rid of it, Asteffiel has moved on to get that new collar thing and everything is still fine, right??
Until he tests that collar's visual thing, everything is fine. Then it is most definitely not.

Sylvari are strange here, that's the thing. This planet has only ever had humans in it.
So if they see someone who looks really different from them, like a monster, or an elf, or something like you... They're going to be so astonished that they might get scared, and that would be bad.

Mesmer illusions have butterflies! They're small and purple, and you can see them before any change happens. Or after they break a clone or illusion, there is a bunch of butterflies for a bit.
