Who: Cara + You
Broadcast: Text
Action: SS First Breath
When: Now!
Apparently many people on the Fleet seem to be suffering from sadness. I have come up with some suitable solutions for you.
One: Crying. (This works for many)
Two: Drinking. (I'm less sure of this)
Three: Cuddling.
These usually work from what I've seen of people with . . . feelings. Hopefully you will all recover soon.

voice;
You missed option number four: fightin'.
Re: voice;
Fighting is what I do all the time. I don't know how much it helps when you're upset.
voice;
Fighting's what I do, too, but punching someone in the face always makes me feel better. Or slashin' 'em, but you guys don't seem to have a lot of enemies runnin' around to kill.
So why're people all sad? Someone die?
Re: voice;
[ Cara can understand it. Somewhat. She doesn't know enough people and even if she did, feeling sad does not come easily to her. ]
And I imagine many in the Fleet take issue with being punched.
Re: voice;
[Wasn't the point of this place to go home? Now Doudanuki is confused.]
Eh, then punch someone not in the Fleet. I'm sure someone'd want to get their frustration out the ol'fashioned way.
Re: voice;
[ And probably wouldn't seek out assholes to punch, like Cara would. ]
They go home, but they are still missed. People have a lot of feelings.
Re: voice;
[Even if it was just a light punch. Or a sparring round. Sparring was a good way to punch people without getting in trouble.]
Hn. Humans are weird, but I guess it's to be expected since their lifespans are so short.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
[He shifts and his armor clinks softly.]
A tsukumogami, to be specific. You know what that is?
Re: voice;
[ Which does spark her curiosity. ] Then you are a living weapon. Are you used?
Re: voice;
Yeah, I use me. Or I did back home. Nowadays, not a lotta people use swords anymore so until I got summoned, I was outta use.
Re: voice;
That must be hard. It is difficult for a weapon when it is . . . retired.
Re: voice;
[He shrugs again.]
The price of peace. It's nice to be out and fightin' again, but that's the point of weapons, right? To end the era of war.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
But that's why I miss it. Kinda wish I could fight here, too. It's borin' here.
Re: voice;
[ Which means she's good but for once, she's not bragging. ]
I can accommodate.
Re: voice;
[Wait. A beat.]
You ain't sad, are you?
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
[He's always down to fight tbh.]
So you don't feel sadness, or you just don't like it?
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Yeeeeah, that's confusin' to me. I only just learned about the whole "hunger" and "feelings" thing myself, so I dunno how most people feel 'em. What does it hurt you or something?
[Like..physically? Because he doesn't completely get what being human is like either. He just learned that when his stomach hurts, he has to eat. And when he gets hurts, he gets mad.]
Re: voice;
No. It's just something I'm accustomed to. We're not trained to feel that way.
Re: voice;
[That sounds useful, actually. It'd make being here a hell of a lot easier.]
Pretty interestin'. So what'd you do that got you to learn that sort of thing?
Re: voice;
[ Lots of torture and murder. ]
Re: voice;
[Since he's assuming she's human, regardless of how emotionless she is.]
Swords don't get raised, we just get made. What routine'd you do?
