The Avatar. Remember me telling you people can bend elements back home? The Avatar is the one being who can bend all four. They're reborn into a new body every time they die. Aang is the current one. It's the Avatar's job to bring peace and harmony to the world. Balance.

Oh, wow, uh no. No, he wasn't born in the ice. He was a member of the Air Nomads- when the war was still new, he ran away from home, he didn't- couldn't handle the weight of being the Avatar. He ended up freezing himself in that iceberg because...Avatar powers, I guess, and stayed that way for a hundred years, when me and my sister found him .

Oh, man, no. I was awful to him when I met him. I thought he was a threat and treated him like garbage. Katara was the one who made the effort at first. It took a while for me to come around.
