Philias. A planet that is less of a planet, and more like an actual living hell.

I don't know why I thought Philias would be a good idea, but it... isn't. Not in the least. I'd do anything if it meant never getting back on a planet like that ever again. I'm not kidding - surely someone out there has done something wild, especially for ratings. I'd even go back to the planet that hated hearing people swear.

[He lights a cigarette before he continues-]

What kind of crazy stuff have you done for ratings? Because I'd probably do it over visiting Philias.

Anyway, I've never done anything specifically for ratings... does anyone do that? I thought we all just kinda... let it happen.

There was once a guy in my crew who admitted doing weird things for ratings. I guess it helped that sponsors sent him stuff, so he'd prance around dressed in wild accessories and whatnot for ratings.

I mean, yeah, that's definitely one way to get credits. Not a bad idea, honestly. Beats the hell out of a ratings spike 'cause of actual drama, right?

I haven't tested the waters yet, but I'm considering it. I'm sure we'll get to planets that enable us to do wild things if people really wanna go that route.

Yeah, probably. I mean, a few planets ago there was this thing called uh, ziplinin'? I think? Anyway, you attached yourself to a rope and flew across a river on another rope, really fast. That was pretty wild. But also kinda awesome. And yeah, come to think of it, I think I did get a small ratings boost out of it?

Oh yeah? Well, I hope you enjoyed that burning hot air that feels like a large pile of bricks are on top of you at all times. That dryness in your mouth that never leaves so your tongue is always getting stuck to the top of your mouth. Then the night falls and you would think you are grateful for the chill the night will bring, but then the sweat chills you and now you're freezing and can't get warm. So you're stuck in an endless cycle of waiting for the night to end just to spend the day waiting for the night to come.

Oh. And of course. Can't forget the sand that gets into everything. It is going to take you months before you stop finding sand in random places.

Oh. Well... ratings. I don't really do anything for ratings. I guess the ice rink helps. Actually if you're hot Chuuya you can go to the ice rink and just sit in there. It's chilly.
