It is not how I met him, but its how we came to be where we are. I saved him.

... He did not seem to recognize you, though.

[So you met him before that, but in a way that made it so he wouldn't know who you were... or your disguise was such in that particular memory that he did not recognize you.

And well, the drugs, probably.]

He was captured, then?

He knew of me and had seen me before, but we did not talk. I had a job to do and no reason to risk my cover until that time. It was something that I had wanted to be able to do from the beginning, but was not able to.

Yes, he was captured.

And.... experimented on?

[He did say they took his arm. And he remembers being told the prosthetic was a Galra thing, too.]

Unfortunately.

[Yes, all of that was true. The Galra took his arm and had given him the prosthetic. The arm was actually unrelated to experiments, but that was information Shiro didn't seem to have shared so he wouldn't]

Then, I am glad you got him out.

[Supernaturals and science have a .... complicated relationship, but being experimented on without consent sucks no matter your species.]

I am glad that I was able to as well. The gamble I made paid off better than I could have expected.
