[A curious sentiment when looked at objectively. The ships of the Fleet are essentially prisons; none of them wanted to be here and there is no verified method of escape. But Connor's been here for a while now. Almost as long as the amount of time he lived in Detroit. Who is he to really claim that it's impossible to consider something like this home?]

Then I'm glad you were able to find such people here.

I would hope you can find the same. Though I assume that like most, you would much prefer to return to your own time.

I would, yeah. There are things I need to do there, and people to return to.

[Maybe that's poorly defined, but it's the best he's got. He had been too fresh out of the fire to have settled on next steps before he was brought into this place.]

I'm finding my time here to be satisfying though, despite the circumstances.
