Well, there is one place to land to take care of all that, and that's on a dusty old moon in front of a planet that no one wants to go to. On this moon, you'll find a civilization that looks a lot like one's stepped into a wild west movie, hardened cowpolk and mutant horses and all. Will you become a vigilante, hunting bounties and stopping gangs from doing their dirty work? Will you go exploring planetside, with a cowboy hat and a stalk of wheat in your mouth to complete the look? Good luck with that; there is no wheat. This town ain't big enough for all you flooters, but make it so! For the ratings!

[Not entirely, Kirito is just thin-skinned when it comes to this stuff. He discovered the sort of crap girls have to deal with in male-dominated regions (like the GGO game) a few days before arriving in the fleet, and he hasn't forgotten so easily.

And he appreciates the compliment, but he has certain concerns about how many he could fend off if another fight broke out. He'd lost his makeshift sword - the pool cue - and there's not a plethora of blades available that he can replace it with.]

Depends on your definition of "weird," but yeah. The worst we ever had were vampires and werewolves - and I guess shapeshifters. [If the guy who could turn into a giant bug counted.] Sometimes ghosts too.

No active monster threat, though - or treasure chests or weapons we could summon like that.

Tell you what. You know I can feel that Darkness, right? If it'll make ya feel better, if I feel your powers start going all haywire or something, I'll portal right on over to the Bloodsport and knock you out, okay?

[and she's drawing her spear out of her gem, twirling it out of habit before leveling it at the nearest group.

The big burly one with a pool cue is the first to break ranks. His ground shaking charge aside, it's not quite as impressive when she jabs him hard in the diaphragm and then sweeps his feet out from under him while he's still wheezing.]

Well, then. [sounds good enough for her. Gem missions don't last all that long anyway, so maybe she's stuck thinking in that magnitude] Let's go.

[she nudges her horse-thing in the exact manner the owner showed her and...nope. She got a lazy one. It takes a couple more kicks and some intense glowering before it even takes a step.]

[He curls his finger beneath his chin.]

I do not know if Cullen likes pink, but it will certainly remind him of you.

[Pearl is right behind him! The guy glances back and puts on a burst of speed, hanging a sharp left into what looks to be a veritable maze of shady looking alleyways.]

Yeah, that's unfortunate. I prefer the direct approach when something is trying to kill bite my face off. Nice and satisfying. If I didn't have that option, I'd probably never go outside.

[He finishes buttoning himself up and crouches beside the drawing.] But I don't have ailerons. So when I try to bank left with my suit, it changes the way the air flows, making me lose lift. Right?

[He reaches into the front pocket of his suit and pulls out a handmade journal, obviously used. There are quite a few pages stuffed into it. He opens it to one of the first few pages, which contains a very detailed diagram of Toothless' wings.]

Dragons don't have ailerons, but they have articulation in their wings like we have in our fingers. [He points to the fingers of the wing.] They can make the tiniest adjustments.

That's what I'm missing.
