Sweet dreams are made of these...
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

When everything returns again, he'll find that his feet are on solid ground, and gravity is working once more. He's in a large room, and he's at the end of a row of people lined up in front of an old man on a segway. Megaman does have a chance to look around before he starts speaking, as the man is wheeling in front of the line and regarding all of them.
Behind Megaman are many, many high-tech computers in front of a large screen. A few people are working on them, but most of them are turned in their chairs to hear what's going to happen. If Megaman looks closely, everything on the computers is relating to space, astronomical studies, and a lot of them have something about HAT-2 on them. Although it looks like one guy over there is playing a game instead... let's judge him a little.
One of the most noticeable things is that everyone is wearing the same jacket. It's similar to the one Clay usually wears, though not the same. Looks like it didn't come with him when he was pulled to the fleet.]

A slow turn about confirms that it's a large room here, and--he's in this row of people being addressed to now?! Oh...Megaman stares at the old man on the segway--he seems important, after all, somebody to probably be paid attention to (even if he is on a...segway...)--but despite himself he can't help but glance around further at his surroundings too, curiosity getting the better of him. It's sort of--familiar, in a way? He wonders if maybe this is what SciLab is like, in the real world, as he turns a bit and spots the tall computers in the back. Lots of astronomy data there, though...and one guy playing a game. Hm. (There's maybe a little judging in that direction, yes.) But right, so maybe this is some sort of facility for...space...?
And those jackets are oddly familiar, now that Megaman takes a proper look at the people at the computers and beside him too. With Clay still in recent memory it's not a difficult connection to make, though that only brings up more questions...
But before Megaman can wonder about that further, the man on the segway begins to speak--he turns quickly to pay attention. Because that's polite, after all! And it's probably important...whatever's going on here....]

[Some people in line begin to straighten up. The man on the segway wheels to a certain section, then reaches out to clap someone's shoulder.]
Solomon Starbuck, you'll be leading the team.
[There are some excited cheers from that, and Megaman might recognize one of the louder ones. Sol himself doesn't move at first, and his response can barely be heard amidst the happy chatter from the rest of the crew.]
Captain... I don't know what to say, I - Are you sure I can...
Of course. No other leader can lead the team as great as you can! You'll traverse the cosmos and lead the way to the future!
[Finally, Solomon moves forward, back straight, chin up, so proud. And, as the chatter starts to die down, one family voice from just a few people down the line from Megaman yells out.]
I knew you could do it!
[Sol glances behind him and towards the voice, a confident smirk on his face as he gives a thumbs-up. But then the man on the segway - the captain, apparently, clears his throat, and Sol turns forward again.]
And the team joining him will be...
[He moves his segway to where the familiar voice came from, and...]
Clay Terran. Congratulations, you're going to help pave the road to the future!
[There's more happy cheering at that, because no one worked harder than Clay did. Again, there's silence from the named person, but instead of questioning it, Clay jumps forward, and the expression on his face is probably the happiest Megaman has ever seen him.]
I did it! I did it! I can't believe it - Captain, this is such a huge honor, you have no idea - Thank you so much - I'm going to space!!
