[The fuzzy man is a bit disoriented as he gets used to his new surroundings. But he ends up heading straight towards the statue first. It's really cool looking, so he gives some applause and cheers with his German accent.]

Whoa, this is too rad! Is this a tribute to the punk rock?

As the fuzzy man approaches the statue, he'll notice that things are happening. The background noises - the crowd, the music - will be fading away. And, from the statue, a voice.

The voice is a girl's - the statues? But her lines are coming out fast, almost overlapping one another. It's not one single conversation, but a myriad of conversations coming out in rapid succession.

"Yep, yep! I'm fucking insane in the brain! Let's dance! Shake that bony white ass!"
"I pledge allegiance to Max, and to the power for which she stands!"
"You saved me again. Crazy. Now we're totally bonded for life!"
"You look cute with your hair soaked in chemicals."
"I double-dare you. Kiss me now!"

It seems like... all of their feelings are coming through. Happy feelings. Kurt can feel them - the joy, the excitement, the love. It's not a tribute to punk rock, it's a tribute to the girl.

And then...

"I'm not mad. It adds up in my mind as people letting me down."
"Why does everybody in my life let me down? My dad gets killed, you bail on me for years, my mother gloms onto step-fucker, now Rachel betrays me..."

Anger and betrayal. Those feelings are coming across, too.

The icing on the cake comes next, though.

"I want this time with you to be my last memory..."

Sadness.

And... "Where'd you get that? What are you doing!? Come on, put that thing down! ... Get that gun away from me, psycho!" A single gunshot rings out, and the statue shatters. The pieces are too small to salvage anything, or even to make out any of the girl's features from them.

On the base of the statue, the same message is scrawled in blood, over and over.

"SAVE CHLOE" "SAVE CHLOE" "SAVE CHLOE" "SAVE CHLOE"

And around the room, every single photograph that features the girl has had her face burnt out of the photos.

However, where the statue was standing, there's now a single button. A large one, with the symbol for... rewind? Like from a VCR?

What's Kurt's next move?

A. Press the button
B. Examine the photos
C. Go back and look at your other options again.

[Wow. Now that sure was a sequence of events. He felt the happiness so vividly, there was no denying what this Chloe person meant to... to... the museum?

No, to whoever this 'Max' was. The owner of the 'bony white ass'.

Kurt's heart was left pounding frantically from the shock of the latter parts of the vision, and once the statue was gone he was looking around breathlessly, noticing the bloody messages and the burned out photos.

This wasn't right. Whatever this was, it wasn't right. His eyes focused on the rewind button, and he stumbled as he ran to it. It can't mean what it seems to, right? Time travel should be impossible. But he gets caught up... not just in the idea of preventing a tragedy, but in turning time back to more innocent days. How he wishes he had his own rewind button.

And so, he reaches forth and presses dat button.]

When Kurt presses the button, it works just as advertised. The pieces of the statue pick themselves up, putting themselves back together just like a VCR put on rewind. The pictures unburn themselves. In short order, the scene is back to the way it was. The statue is whole. Chloe is alive.

Except the messages. "SAVE CHLOE". They're still there, at the base of the statue.

The voice come back, along with a different one. It's not a multitude of scenes, this time. Only one.

"My powers... might not last."
"That's okay, we will. Forever."

He watches like a scene is unfolding in a movie in front of him, with wide-eyed surprise.

The statue, the pictues... It's all so neat! But the message still remains, so the mission must still be in effect.

As the voices speak, he looks around for a source. And he smiles sappily as he hears that last notion. He raises a fist in the air energetically. "That's right, love always lasts!"

If Kurt looks outside, he would notice that it has started to storm. A pretty bad one, even if he can't hear any thunder or hear the wind.

What does he check out from here?

A storm is definitely brewing, and that's mildly concerting. But he has to worry about this Chloe person first. Kurt keeps himself focused on that.

It all has to do with this "Max", and this exhibit is supposed to be about her. So he'll head towards (B.) the informational pamphlets to check them out and see if they say anything helpful.

As Kurt approaches the information desk, he'll notice that there are a number of posters hung up around it. Three posters most prominently - a poster advertising The End of the World Party, a poster advertising something called The Vortex Club, and a Missing Person poster about a girl named Rachel Amber.

Likewise, there are actually a number of informational pamphlets. Which one does Kurt want to read?

A. MAX CAULFIELD
B. CHLOE PRICE
C. ARCADIA BAY
D. THE PAISLEY

[He takes some glances at the posters and takes note of what he can learn about them. But he quickly refocuses himself upon the pamphlets.

It doesn't take him long to select the one about (B.)Chloe Price to peruse. She's the one who needs to be saved, after all, so he needs to know how to make sure that can happen.

Then there's Chloe Price. What do you say to your best friend after five years of silence? After finding out you saved her life in a bathroom? NOTHING. I feel so lame for not staying in touch... or even text. I have no idea how to process seeing Chloe like this again. For one thing, she looks so similar but so different... She's all grown up now, but it doesn't seem like she's only one year older than me.

I absolutely love her blue hair and punk clothes. It makes sense she would become a rebel. She still kinda looks like a pirate. Except one who stage dives. I know she's angry with me because of her body language. I'm glad I can still see the old Chloe in there. Or is that the young Chloe? I'm sure she's still messed up about her dad dying. I would be too. That was a terrible time for Chloe and Joyce.

I feel bad because I wonder if I was happy to move away just to avoid the grief... Speaking of grief, it's clear she's all mixed up with Nathan Prescott's shit. I have no idea what's going on between them, but I am going to find out, no matter what.

[He looks both confused and concerned as he looks through Chloe's pamphlet. Particularly, the dates of deaths matched with the unsettling pictures... It made him sick. And he wanted answers.

But the so-called testimonials didn't exactly enlighten him on the matter. Unless it had to do with this Nathan Prescott fellow? He had to find out. And he had to do what he could to save this person... possibly multiple times.

So he sets down the pamphlet once he's done reading, and then he looks around to try and see if Max herself is still around.]
