Sweet dreams are made of these...
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

It feels like early autumn, although with mostly evergreen trees around, it's hard to tell.
...It definitely doesn't feel cold enough for that gentle snowfall suddenly coming down outside, though.
There are voices commenting on it. It... doesn't sound like it's coming from anybody inside the exhibit, though.
"What the hell is this?"
"Snowflakes..."
"It's like... eighty degrees. How?"
"Climate change. Or... a storm is coming..."
no subject
"Ah? Hello?"
He tries, but he's not sure he expects anyone to actually answer him.

Or maybe he should keep watching the outside. The snow seems to be letting up, after all...
Or he could check out the exhibit proper. There are photographs, a statue, or informational pamphlets available, plus the girl sitting in the very back of the exhibit.

Almost all of them seem to be pictures taken in the same town that's outside of the museum - the same one that Hinata was spending so much time admiring. It must mean a lot to the photographer.
The smaller pictures seem innocuous enough, but the larger ones, the ones that have been blown up, seem to have a different quality to them. And the closer somebody gets to one, the more the background noises - voices, music - seem to fade away.
Which picture is he going to check out first?
A. A shot of the outside of a school - an old, brick building looking dignified, although there's an intensity, as if something's about to happen. ((Ep 2 spoilers, suicide))
B. A scary shot of a tornado, absolutely huge, approaching that very town from the sea.
C. A photograph of two girls, relaxing in an indoor pool at night. ((Ep 3 spoilers))
D. A shot of a short-haired girl, covered in paint. ((Ep 1 spoilers))
E. One of the girls from the pool picture, standing with a playful expression. ((Ep 2 spoilers))
F. A beach with a number of beached whales, lifeless in the sun. ((Ep 4 spoilers))
G. A shot of a large amount of medical equipment, cold and impersonal. ((Ep 4 spoilers, injury, suicide))
H. Or choose the smart option and ignore these photos, something seems off about them.

Hinata approaches the tornado picture and tries to inspect it further without touching, wondering how many people could have been hurt by something like that...

Only to be replaced with the roar of a tornado.
The picture is moving, now, the tornado swirling as it moves towards the town. Rain pelts down against the scenery, the downpour adding to the sounds of the deadly storm.
There's a loud crash as the tornado launches a boat through the air, smashing it against the lighthouse in the foreground. A girl, soaked to the bone, makes her way past just as the top of the lighthouse crashes down behind her.
She snatches something up - paper? A newspaper, maybe? It's difficult to make out. Her voice can barely be heard over the tornado in the distance. "October eleventh? Is this... Friday?" Although hard to hear, it's one of the girls Hinata heard speaking about the snow. "That's only..." Her voice is muffled by the sounds of the storm.
She can only watch in horror as the tornado continues approaching the town. The tornado is huge - it is literally just as wide as the town itself. Soon, buildings are being ripped from the ground. "Oh no...!"
Another girl, dressed in black, approaches the first, putting a hand on her shoulder. And the picture stills, back to a shot of the tornado.
The sounds of the museum come rushing back. This is obviously no ordinary photo gallery - and the town doesn't look like it could have survived that storm, either.
And outside, the snow seems to have been replaced with an incoming storm.

... The girl.
"Uh--h-hello?" You can do this, Hinata, it's important. He approaches her. "Excuse me.."
no subject
She doesn't notice his approach, but when he speaks, she seems to jump a bit. "Whoa! Man, you totally snuck up on me."
...Her voice is definitely the same one from the photograph.

He was about to apologize, but now he hears her voice. Hinata takes a moment to collect himself on that front before he goes back to being polite and bows.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you! I was just wondering... how is that town okay if that tornado came through..?
no subject
"You heard about the tornado? How?"
