[There's a room in the middle of the hall where the voice is coming from. Once she gets there, she'll find that sitting on the floor near Rogue is Clay and another fleet member. The other person, Allen, says something, not looking at Clay, but it's so quiet that Rogue won't be able to hear it, as if Clay didn't want her to hear it. She'll be able to listen, however, once Allen looks up at Clay and speaks up again.]

Are you sure you'd like to be with me for whatever happens?

[There's a small pause from Clay as he processes what was said to him, the thing that Rogue couldn't hear. After that, though, he reaches out to take Allen's hand - strangely enough, the hand he holds doesn't look human, but is entirely red. Who knows what it even is?]

I'm absolutely, 100% sure I'd like to be with you for whatever happens.

[Allen pauses at that, looking down at their hands, a little surprised by all of this... and then he ducks his head and gives a small, quiet laugh.]

... You really are something, Cowboy.

[...okay, this was a recent memory then.

She is really, really not supposed to be here.

Let's... go... back toward that MASS OF DARKNESS, that is totally going to be less embarrassing than accidentally spying on her captain and his boyfriend, shit.]

[The MASS OF DARKNESS isn't really the rest of the hallway, so if Rogue tries to go through it, she'll just hit a wall. It's more like a part of the memory that Clay doesn't care much about, practically forgotten about in this moment. The other way will yield the same results, as there's another MASS OF DARKNESS down there as well. The only room to really go to is the one Clay and Allen are in right now.]

But well. It's not as though it's the first time she's had to sit through the intimate scene of someone else's relationship.
