Sweet dreams are made of these...

[ Calibration Rooms ]
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

OH, I'M A MR. PROG, ACTUALLY! BUT YOU'RE WELCOME!

[CLOSE ENOUGH SHAWN...CLOSE ENOUGH....but, with the line of questioning finished, the Mr. Prog faces away towards the plaza again, and Shawn can start down the path unhindered. ...It pans out into another plaza, this one the exact same size as the last.

There are some differences, though. In here the dark backdrop of spiraling soccerball lights has faded out to a sort of ambient green paneling that glows gently--it's hard to tell whether it's actually a wall of green light or just more empty space in a different color. But more importantly--and much more prominently--a screen of some kind sits suspended in the middle of the area, straight ahead, stretching across the area big enough in size to be comparable to a movie theater's display.

On the other side of the screen is...a boy's bedroom, from the perspective of a camera sitting tipped-up on a desk. There's a bed with yellow covers, anyway, with a black backpack and a pair of rollerblades tossed carelessly on top--and there's a window to the side that filters in sunlight, a soccerball sitting on its sill. A couple of colorful action posters line the walls here and there. A blue dresser stands half out of sight, with a glint of golden trophies sitting on top of it. Nearer to the camera, though, on the table, there's a keyboard and yet another screen just barely cut off to the side--a computer's screen, maybe? A glow indicates that it's on, though the contents of its monitor are indiscernible...but there are faint peals of rock music coming from that general direction, filtering through into the plaza.

And, nested in a corner between the computer outside and the edge of the screen, is a photo in a frame propped up on the desk. There are two very small brown-haired boys huddled together in the photograph, one wearing orange and the other wearing blue. They look identical.

Towards the bottom of the screen from Shawn's end of things, though--and well within reaching distance--is a sort of menu, the sleek square buttons floating suspended in the air themselves. Each button has a line of text...]

[Mr. Prog? Not gonna lie, Shawn likes "Mr. Rabbit-Thing" better. It suits the little guys, but a proper name's a proper name - so he'll remember it for next time.

As he enters the plaza, his gaze is drawn towards the boy's bedroom. It reminds him of his room, and Cory's room, except way neater. Guess the kid's mom actually gets on his case about laundry and things like a clean floor. (Plus, the kid's got good taste in music!) Shawn bops his head along to the beat, walking towards the menu.

He's not one for investigating - intruding? - but he'll take a peek at the menu. After some deliberation, he hits the button called 'Navi.' That has to mean something, right?]
