Sweet dreams are made of these...
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

[He smiles, though, calm and grateful.]
Thank you.
[He turns back, wings spreading out, and takes off into the air, unsheathing his sword wildly and tearing through several of the angel warriors in the first swing. The rest jump into action, more and more appearing in the arena, and it looks just as hopeless as ever, but Kirito's fully energized again.]

[He returns that smile as he charges forward. It takes him a few seconds, as he also hacks his way through those angels, before he realizes that he should probably look at the menu again.
So, he jumps back, not even trying to assume a defensive stance as he pulls the menu up. Stefan figures (maybe wrongly so) that even if it is a death video game, he's sorta-kinda cheated the grim reaper too many times to count.]

Just before he gets about 3/4, multiple angels charge him at once, surrounding him and impaling him with their blades. His health bar is draining fast, and he could definitely use more back-up.]
no subject
Sorry I'm late.
[He grins, rushing forward and side-stepping a few angels as if it's no big deal.] I see you've left a ton for me.

[Kirito flaps his wings to break free of the angels surrounding him, dropping to the ground beside Stefan and yanking the swords out, flinging them aside. There's no blood, at least, but there's a series of pixelated wounds on his body now, tiny crystals escaping.]
Well, you know. It's important to share with your team.

[Stefan hacks his way through some angels' wings, jumping back only long enough to notice the pixelated wounds. He grimaces, shifting to a defensive stance to block some swords.]
You know, you could've saved more for me. I've handled worse.

By all means, take as many as you want. If you've got any tactical suggestions, I'm all ears...

[Amazing timing, considering that he cuts through a few more angels - so he'll shout,] That was unintentional!

The fight is almost whimsical for a little while, now that they're working together, but unfortunately, that's not something this scenario will allow. More and more enemies spawn in, snatching away even the semblance of victory no matter how many of the angels are destroyed. Bit by bit, the bar above Kirito's head is chipped away- from green, to yellow, and finally, a deep red.
Then, out of nowhere, a sharp twang of a hundred bowstrings sound from above, and Kirito lurches to the side, flying down to hover above Stefan and lifting his greatsword to block.]
Watch out...!!
[A rain of arrows from too many angels to count, some of them bouncing harmlessly off the sword, more flying past Kirito himself and flying at Stefan. Despite his efforts, however, enough arrows break through and pierce the fairy form's unprotected body that the last sliver of red it eaten away.
He has just enough time to shout his frustrated protest before his body is consumed by a burst of black and white smoke, arrows falling loose and scattering harmlessly to the ground with no body left to pierce. When the smoke fades, all that's left is a small, fluttering black and purple flame floating in the air. Above it, a timer counts down second by second from 600.
In other words, that went great.]

Stefan doesn't get angry easily, but as more and more monster spawn in, he's getting pissed. Dangit, two were supposed to be better than one! What is going on with this stupid, murdering video game?
Just before he opens his mouth to protest, that burst of smoke consumes Kirito and. Well, Stefan's staring at that flame with his mouth open and his sword knocked to the side. Is it time to pull up that menu again? He can't exactly run. The door's still blocked out.
So, without further hesitation, he heads over to that fluttering black and purple flame. A fool would die touching it, but well? At this point? Stefan doesn't have much to lose.]

The flame remains stationary, its only movement as the ticking clock and an occasional flutter as if in a breeze. After a long moment, it resonates with a faint, echoed voice, as if from behind a closed door.]
Sorry, I should've warned you... I died here back then, too.
no subject
It's okay. I'm just glad you're not dead-dead.
[Still, he's not too sure where the voice is coming from - the fire itself?] How can I bring you back?
no subject
[He says it somewhat teasingly, as the counter hits 550. A moment later, his voice is more serious. It sounds like it's is coming from the fire, or at least somewhere in the vicinity of it.]
Check the menu? There might be something on there. I don't remember what it was called, though.
no subject
Well, he can wait, or he can check the menu. Stefan scowls a little as he heads back to the menu and pulls it back up.]
Thanks. I'm sure I can find it, or something close enough to it anyhow.
