[ The video activates itself to reveal a young man staring into space. His eyes are probably the most startling thing about him. Bright, eerily blue eyes that seem to pierce the fabric of reality. You may also see brown flecks of creatures embedded into his skin, near the neck and face.

And suddenly his gaze snaps back to the camera and he is all smiles and good intentions, as if a switch had been turned on. He sits on one of the many beds on the Marsiva Deck and kicks his legs, caught between the impression of a boy and a man.

I do not need the spiel and I'm sure you are all quite thankful for that, but I am curious to know what qualifies as entertainment for our most benevolent hosts?

"Good" tends to be very subjective. From what I've gathered, very little is known of our audience and captors. Anything goes, so to speak.

I can tell you that it certainly isn't pitching a fit, because that was my first act and I went right into some sort of month-long sleep. The causal relationship may not be as direct as I'm imagining, but it's interesting, isn't it?

[Considering the story she has to tell, she certainly sounds careless and offhand about it, her English accent only adding to the dry delivery. It's something she's piecing back together, her ability to appear unruffled by any circumstance, even if it's a bit late given - well, the fit she pitched when she got here.]

Rather a long trip to the corner until I'm ready to behave, but considering - everything about this, you'll pardon me if I'm more prone to paranoia than usual.

[Raylene is also on the Hospitality Deck and is Very Bored with how things are going. There's nothing to do and even less people to talk to. Normally she wouldn't resort to conversation with strangers unless she was working or trying to get something out of them but... well.

She was starting to go stir-crazy and talking to an imaginary Pinky wasn't going to get her squat. After Leto finishes his request, Ray pipes up from behind as she idles past him.]

[ At first, there's a curl of delight in Hermione, her heart racing - because it looks like someone she knows is here, someone she recognises, and the voice - it all screams home to her in a way she can't really smother. It's only when she turns on the feed properly and leans close to watch that she realises this isn't the man she had been hoping to see - she knows Charles, after all, and the features might be the same but the person is different.

The disappointment is difficult to smother and she swallows, pushing it away before she speaks. ]

I'd imagine any kind of drama would work. That always seemed to be the case at home.

My best guess would be interpersonal conflict. Why else would you throw a bunch of strangers into the close quarters of a space ship? Bring in people who know each other from the same world, then separate them, or pull people from different points in a timeline?
