[Tek is pretty much just going to live in the springs if that's alright with everyone here. he spends literal days there, doing nothing but moving lazily from one pool to another, slowly regulating his temperature over the course of hours like a big lizard, and shamelessly indulging the hell out of himself.
his favorite though, is lazing out in the outdoor pools while there is a fluffy dusting of snow falling overhead. utter perfection.
also... trunks are for losers.]
→ forest
[and as nice as the hot springs are... the call of the big spooky forest is still too much even for him. there's just so much energy lurking there, so many deep wells of stuff that the last planets had lacked. he needs it... so, he can't stay away for long.
regardless of all the things that the forest has been been showing and tempting him with, he keeps going back. getting lost and wandering over and over again, until it's hard to remember why he'd started in the first place.
so, anyone could find him during one of their journeys. just a well-dressed man wandering across the path, looking entirely out of place with his surroundings but somehow fitting in as if he's just another image conjured up by this place.
it feels so nice to let his own threads mix with everything that is woven here...]
spa;
Of course, he can't simply lie in peace. When Tek returns from the outdoors (Garak will not go out there), he's rewarded with a lazy smirk.]
And here I thought I'd be the only one to properly appreciate such heat.
spa;
and he's only wearing a towel at the moment because it is cold out there. it's certainly not going to last long. he's brought back a few bottles from the vending machines outside, and begins to line them up on the floor a little ways from the edge of the pool.]
You know... if you brave the outdoor world just a little bit, there's a small building on the far side of the springs that is there just for baking in the heat. Did you know?
no subject
[This is entire nonsexual, of course-- but there's something delightful about the wrap of Tek's towel around his hips. Garak allows himself to drink in the sight for a few moments as the other man speaks.]
Well. Perhaps it's worth the trip after all-- though I'm surprised you indulged in it.
no subject
I didn't spend much time there, I'll admit. Just long enough to learn how it works--water poured over hot stones.
The heat was nice, but I prefer the water.
[and, with the last bottle lined up, he heads for the edge of the pool]

What a lovely thing, to have the luxury of choice. I was starting to think I might simply hibernate if left too long on that icy planet.
no subject
Oh, it was awful, wasn't it? And I'd already done enough hibernating because of the planet before that.
Be glad you missed that one.
no subject
[He keeps up that admiring glance, of course, but his smirk goes a little sharper as he false chides the other man.]
Either keep up appearances or commit to being what you are, my dear.
no subject
and his smirk widens to mirror the other.]
Oh, but I thought you liked this face.

Oh.
[ Fantastic. ]

Out here, all alone? These woods are dangerous for little girls, you know.
[haha, he thinks he's so funny.]
no subject
[ She says it lightly, though. Maybe she's joking, maybe not. Who knows! ]
no subject
and he'll just continue to stroll on up like he plans on falling in step beside her for a nice walk.]
You're as much a little girl as I am a harmless man. It was a joke.
no subject
I'm more little than you are harmless, by far.
[ Like she's one to talk about being harmless. ]
no subject
I haven't seriously harmed a single soul since I've been here.
[and no, he is absolutely not counting shooting his friend in the head. that was totally different.]

Forest
But Tek had manipulated him out of the warmth of the nest to go wandering. He looks distinctly unimpressed, and keeps making noises to voice his disgust.]
This is stupid.
AAGGGH DW
Stop being a baby. You'll love it, I promise. It has all of your favorite things.
[not that he knows what the demon's favorite things actually are. he's making a vaguely-educated guess, and filling in the rest with his own favorite things. accuracy is not important here.]
SO CRUEL
[Still, he'll be dragged because he would be lying if he wasn't a little curious.]
no subject
[but who knows. maybe he's wrong. maybe the demon is really just a big slob.]
no subject
Warmth and comfort in a luxurious bed. Your point?
no subject
My point is that I'm not sharing my warm, luxurious bed with someone completely boring. Now quit dragging your feet.
no subject
no subject
And the fact that I share it at all makes me a generous person. So you should stop insulting me.
[look, flawless logic. also look--cozy hot springs coming up fast.]
