What is a bagel?

Human food. I'm surprised you do not know it.

A bagel is a sort of bread. Ring shaped, but not sweet. I believe they boil it before they bake it, which gives it a particular texture.

I don't particularly care for food, but it is nice enough. Not sickeningly sweet, like so much humans make.

. . . I can't stomach human food very well anymore. It's part of the metamorphosis.

I would say you are not missing much. But... I have never liked eating to begin with.

I don't need to. The Sandworm can go for long periods of time without sustenance.

That sounds very convenient. [Eating is an annoyance. He occasionally has an inkling of why he finds himself so disinterested in regular food, but it doesn't bear thinking on.]
