Kitty - Ballrom
He laughed and took her hand. "Well, when you put it like that, how could I possibly refuse?" he grinned and took to the dance floor with her, perhaps a touch careful to keep his hands slightly up from hip height.
"Do you like to do this sort of thing in your world? Go dancing, I mean?"

"Ballet?" he repeated. "The modern I can see, dance is a surprise. Does that mean there are pictures of you in a cute little pink tutu somewhere?"

"That's all right. You'll never get to see my first mug shot from when I was eleven. I was adorable."
He's not kidding, Kitty.

"I drove my uncle's car, which was really my dad's car, into the town quarry," he said without missing a beat.

"No, nothing like that. My dad died when I was born, and my mom ended up giving his car to my uncle, whom I stayed with while my mom went back out with the Fleet with her new husband. Let's just say I did not like my uncle."

He shrugged his shoulders, clearly not much bothered. Which... was not exactly the truth. It did bother him, but it was more his mother's actions than his uncle, even if he was part of it. He pushed most of those feelings away now, trying to make himself as apathetic as possible when it came to them.
"Thanks, but don't worry to much about it, k?" he bumped his forehead to hers gently. "I'm not one to linger to much in the past, especially when dancing with such a pretty kitty."

"Awhile, but I knew I had to save it for the right time. It's not the sort of thing you just throw out there, you know?" he laughed.

"Witty Kitty is for another time," he assured her, giving them a spin. "Pretty Kitty suits you especially tonight."

"You were always pretty before - just shines a bit more tonight is all."
And now a dip!

Well, maybe a touch. I try very hard NOT to be a jerk, after all.

Hardly any at all. I suppose that's the effect of being around a pretty kitty ~

[ He laughed. ]
I take that as a compliment.
