[Video starts with... that sure is Loki. But there's something subtly weird about his expression. There's nothing guarded or calculated about it, a slight relaxation of ever-present tension that was never apparent before, perhaps. The best poker face in all Nine Realms is nowhere to be seen. If anything, he looks upset. Confused, worried, a bit scared. And he's out in the forest on the toxic moon, which is just great, let him tell you. No mask, but he's never needed one before, not that he's aware of that, or of the fact that most people have to wear them.]

Hello? Yes, this seems to be working. What a curious device. [Anyway. The point.]

I seem to be lost. Very lost. Where is this?

[A view of the forest, brief but steady.]

And--[Careful breath.]--who am I?

[Lucky Loki, his augment has glitched and while he remembers how to do things--and the occasional esoteric fact--he has no idea who he is. Good news--or bad news depending on your opinion of his usual space asshole personality--he'll get over it in about a week.

Even if no one comes find him, he'll make his way back to civilization eventually and be very confused about life and where he's even supposed to be. Good thing he's practically indestructible. But eventually, he will be around on the Paisley, and on the Iskaulit, poking about.]

[He'll file that piece of information about enemies away under things he's learned. He ought to ask Ahsoka who her enemies are, perhaps.

But this... what to make of this. Love is still a very abstract concept to him. He has approached everyone with a rather open heart and mind because he doesn't know any better, but he knows that isn't the same thing.]

Oh. You must know him very well. [And then he wonders, what it must be like to feel that way about someone and then have them replaced by... a fool who knows nothing, really. ] I am sorry.

[ Susan didn't know, but Susan wasn't a Loki he had fallen in love with. She would never remember because she wasn't the one who led him into the fields and rescued his soul. ]

What are you sorry for?

[He shrugs, faintly.] Because he is gone and I am here in his stead.

[ He frowns lightly. People don't always understand this aspect of Leto's love. ]

You are still him. Why would my love change?

I know nothing that he knew. I would think I am but a hollow shell off him

Knowledge is only a smart part of who we. You are not hollow.

[One hand curls into a loose fist over his heart.] I feel empty.

[He has begun to encompass how little he actually knows.] What else is there?

[ Leto nods. He had felt the same way, in the past. There's little that can absolve it, only time. And time is scarce. ]

[ He smiles. ]

Of course. It is all yours.

[It feels very... big, somehow, and important, but he has no idea how to proceed. How do you come to know someone? Ask them more questions, he supposes. Listen to them. And so far, Leto's been the one to speak most deeply with him, and recognize that while he might be Loki in a technical sense, he certainly feels like someone entirely different.

Turning in circles in his own head isn't going to accomplish anything, he decides. Leto already has the full measure of his ignorance. But he still hesitates slightly before he reaches to take one of Leto's hands. That seems a thing to know as well, just what the feels like.]

Will you laugh, for I don't know how to go about doing so?

[ Leto tilts his head, bringing Loki's knuckles to his lips and pressing a chaste kiss to them. ]

Why would I?

[For him, that's the first time he's ever experienced any sort of kiss. It's startling, for all that it seems innocuous. He licks his lips.]

Why wouldn't you?

I would not treat this as a joke.

[ Leto softens. ] So why would you think so?

I know not what to think. Not what you might do. Is that not what has brought us to this point? [This is a complete unknown.]

True. Which is why I'm allowing you to explore your options.

[He smiles crookedly.] But at some point when I have made a choice, you must react in some more definitive way or I'll never cease to be confused.

Oh, not to worry. You'll know.

[He snorts.] Not as of yet.

Oh? Should I be more forward then physically?

...he kind of wants to find out, now. Curiosity and all.]

That might be helpful. [Why does he feel nervous, now?]

[ He squeezes Loki's hands, deeply amused, though he's not laughing at Loki. ]

[He huffs a small laugh.] None thus far.

[He feels like he's waiting for something, but isn't certain what.]

[ Well, then. Leto cups Loki's face to kiss him lightly. ]

[It's completely new, and in small ways oddly familiar. He doesn't remember this, but muscle memory remains. It means that even has he draws in a little breath that echoes the pleasant shock he feels, one hand knows to find its way to Leto's cheek. His lips remember how to invite while mentally, he considers that yes, this is a new thing that he might come to like.]
