Video - Open + Private
Who: Furiosa and You!
Broadcast: Video
Action: First Breath - Furiosa's quarters
When: Today
It's been a few days since Katie and Max recovered her from the avalanche she unwittingly started. It has taken that time for her to feel like she's back in the land of the living and not teetering on some cold abyssal edge; she's still sore, her movements careful and ginger, but she's got her wits about her and she's never been so happy to be warm again. While the ship isn't anywhere near the scorching temperatures she experienced back home, in relation to the burning cold she just dealt with she's grateful for a secure, safe environment.
She's also grateful for the outpouring of help and friendship, evidenced in the aftermath with Max and Tyrion's posts to the network. She wouldn't normally go out of her way to make such a public statement, but she recognizes the effort that went in to finding her, even outside of the one who was finally successful.
The video feed opens to a view of her in her bunk. She's still recovering, continuing to let Tyrion have control of the ship until she's sure she'll be able to handle it (and, perhaps, get a replacement arm for the one she lost in her foolishness). Her face is worn, and craggy from her bout with the elements, but she looks happy, hopeful.]
Open - Video
I am back. I am safe, and it's thanks to you. [She still isn't a woman of many words, but there's careful thought put into the ones she chooses to use.]

Action
[You can hear the smirk there, sarcasm and all.]
Action
I'm not about to bore them with details.
[Or rather, she'd prefer to forget the whole experience in the first place.]
Re: Action
I would point out that what happened to you would hardly be called boring. Closer to harrowing, if I could put a name on it. However ... I understand not wanting to share the details about battle scars.
[He gestured to his face, his mouth twisting slightly.] As you can see.
Action
I guess, technically, these are your quarters now.

Perhaps. Did you at least enjoy your nap?
Re: video;
For the most part. It was an exciting three years to say the least.

Might I ask what happened?

I got caught in an avalanche. Didn't know snow could do that.

[Gasp!]
Oh, Furiosa, you're back! We've been looking all over for you, are you okay?!
[If Pinkie was there in person, she'd be glomping Furiosa to death.]
Video
I'll survive. Thank you for your help, Pinkie.

You look terrible.

Good. I'd hate to have to go through that with nothing to show for it.
[She looks at the dog, bemused.] Who do we have here?
[ video ]
[ Dead would be a pain to deal with. ]
[ video ]
[She wouldn't be a very good Captain, dead.] Are you new? I don't remember seeing you before.
Re: [ video ]
[ Which was a bizarre thing for Cara to witness. It made her uncomfortable. ]

But it was time to step up again and be out there in the world that had become her life. Not everyone would leave, and if people did leave she could survive. Furisoa had lost enough people close to her that she had become steeled against everything, Lily had to learn to walk closer to the middle.]
I am so relieved you are back Captain. Please let me know if you need anything. I have some soup stock if you feel up to it.
