Why'd You Kill the Merchant?!
Who: ALL O' Y'ALL
Broadcast: If you want
Action: FRICK YEAH PARTY AT THE JUNKYARD...I mean, Waystation. Junkstation.
When: 10/07 - Event End
It looks more like a junk heap than a waystation, but luckily there aren't any math fetishists to add you to the pile (hopefully). Talk to the scavengers and heed their warnings...if you want. Or perhaps you'll approach a shady individual for purchasing or selling stuff.
"Welcome, stranger!"

[Maybe it's a cultural thing. Ochako's cheeks are a bit more pink than usual as she shrugs.]
W-well, just try it without anything else on, and see how that feels! I'll just, um-
[Backing up towards the door now, whoops. Talk about a whole lot of unhelpful.]
no subject
[leaning forward to put a hand on Ochako's forehead...]
no subject
No, no, I'm fine! Thank you! I'm just looking forward to you finding the right one!
[She hastily escapes, shutting the change room door behind herself. Goodness, has Aria never made her girlfriends blush before?]
no subject
It's very, very difficult to judge on that.]
As you wish... I will be out soon, then.
[At least you're being allowed to escape this time.]

Ochako hastily scampers back to the racks - which is thankfully within eyesight - to find herself a suit while she waits. There are so many cute options...!]
no subject
[She's stepping out in the first bikini Ochako picked out and going to find her, and, well.
First of all, she's absolutely fucking ripped. Second, she's covered in scars.
She is in fact managing to wear the bikini right, at least? And she makes it work.]
no subject
[The exclamation is automatic; she's never seen anyone with that many scars. Aria must have lived a hard life. Muscles are nothing new to her, considering where she comes from, though this is the first time in a while she's seen them so pronounced on a girl. With how strong Aria is, though, it's not a surprise.
She shakes it off pretty quickly, either way- claps her hands together and beams, utterly delighted.]
Ahhh, you look great! That's super cute on you! Is it comfortable?
no subject
[she's turning red herself, now, she's not used to being called cute...]
I am not... I mean, I think I will adjust, and... If you think so highly of it, then I will be fine, really.
no subject
[She has like five hanging off her arm to try on. She'll feel pretty silly being the only one, but whatever Aria's happy with...]
no subject
[She's not usually the type to be concerned about fashion, she just grabs something and goes. But on the other hand, Ochako's thrown her off with that cute comment, and now she's flustered, and is just going to go along with her suggestions.]
no subject
[Ochako returns to the rack, fishing through for another minute, then returns with a second bundle, handing it to Aria.]
Here! These are all suits that will probably fit you just fine. Why not see if there's some you like, and try them on for yourself. I'll be in the next stall doing the same thing, and when we both find the suit we like, we'll come out and surprise each other! How's that sound?
no subject
[She gives a big, grateful grin, before taking the swimsuits and disappearing into the changing room.]
no subject
[Yaaaay, small crisis averted. She vanishes into her own dressing room, testing each suit on one by one until she's finally satisfied with what she sees in the mirror.
It's a few minutes after they begin that she knocks lightly on the wall, calling out.]
Okay, I'm ready whenever you are!
no subject
[She exits herself. Surprising literally no one, she's gone for one of the more athletic swimsuits, a one-piece with an open back (so her tail can make it through the hole.
That said, she's looking over Ochako and smiling.]
Yours is quite cute as well.
no subject
Ohh, that's perfect! We look great- so ready for swimming lessons! Let's get dressed and buy them, then. We'll be in the water in no time!
no subject
... I almost forgot that was the purpose behind these... Ah, let us hurry and do that, then.
no subject
[Ochako beams and scampers back into the change room to get herself sorted again. Hopefully that'll be a promise she can keep. It can't be that hard to teach someone to swim, right? Right...]
no subject
She changes... well, reasonably quickly for someone who has to do up a corset, honestly, and makes it out again as soon as possible.]
And now, we must purchase them... Why do we not have physical coin for this?
no subject
[It sort of feels like a debit card to her, but she can understand why someone from a medieval world might think differently.]
no subject
no subject
[Aria wouldn't be the only one who'd prefer to have it like that, and she's pretty sure she saw credit ATMs somewhere.]
no subject
[She pulls a small pouch from her tunic's waist.]
At least I was allowed to keep my coinpurse, though the contents were left at home.
no subject
Ahaha... yeah, my wallet was pretty useless, too.
[She waves at the shopkeep as they approach, just going ahead and paying for both suits.]
This is my treat, okay?
no subject
Ah- Are you certain? You need not trouble yourself for my sake.
