[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

We're not a fair comparison - no idea how it happened but we might be the most shameless couple here. [ he definitely hasn't seen anyone else showing that much pda. then again, it could be because he's constantly busy with making out with her. ]

[Might have also been a thing if Kitty had taken it as a more serious relationship from the onset and was going more with feelings than attraction. Not that the feelings weren't there, but she was trying to ignore them and they snuck up on her!]

We should probably get a trophy for it. A ribbon at the very least.

The day we start talking like normal people is the day I start to seriously worry for our sanity.

[ shh so what if he's been worrying about his since he was 11, sometimes he likes to pretend he's not a screwed up human being and just make dumb jokes that have no further meaning. ]

[She knows that means more to him and she touches his cheeking gently—lovingly. She doesn't see him that way. She does worry about him. The lack of sleep. The drinking. The trouble communicating his feelings and the anger her lets build up. But she also believes in his good heart and kind nature and knows he'll never be like his father. They may both be a little broken, but they're also pretty great at fixing things. She looks at them with more optimism than she has much of anything.]

We're probably in no danger of that then. That's one language I don't know.

And I don't plan on learning.

[ he smiles and turns his head to press a soft kiss to that hand. as long as he has people who love him so much in his life to keep an eye on him, he's not worried either.

okay, he's a little worried about the augment in his head. and also about it just striking him at random. but he's much calmer than he used to be, and that's huge for him. ]

[Augments are definitely a concern, but if they use that it won't be Winn and it won't be forever. They'll get through whatever happens. And she believes he'd do the same for her. But it does scare her sometimes to think about doing something with her powers to scare him if she's changed and for him to be afraid of her like he is with Sascha. Just an uncontrollable fear that he doesn't want, but can't just erase. It would break her heart.]

Good. You have plenty on your plate already.

[ it would break his too, the last thing he wants is to lose faith in her or in kara. he tries his best not to think about it, but the fears do come, and they bring possible solutions with them. he's so vulnerable here, and no amount of training with jim is really going to change that. his only hope is being smart about it. ]

One day, I'll clean it. [ of everything that's on it now. of course, by then it'll be packed with a million other things. ]

Sure you will. [Smiling fondly at him.] You know I only ever mention it because I want to make sure you have enough time for you, right? [For the most part she just wants to trust him to handle the load he takes on and loves him for how much he cares about so many people and things. But there was never really anyone to take care of him other than himself so she wants him to know she will. That he has her. That he's never alone.]

I know.

[ his look is not quite smitten - it's something halfway through that and grateful. it's because he never really had anyone to take care of him other than himself that he takes on all these things - he wants to be there for all the people in his life, to prove that he's worth keeping around and to be there for them like they deserve. her being there for him too, it means more to him than he can say.

he leans in for a sweet kiss. ]

[She meets the kiss tenderly, not trying to make it anything more than a sweet expression of affection.] You pull off red pretty well. We should both go a whole week just wearing green, orange, and purple.

Unless you got a secret wardrobe, that's gonna have to wait cuz after this party I'm officially [ it's so not official, he didn't clear anything wit jim in fact he just decided it this second. but something tells him jim will be all for this. ] on vacation.

[ and by that he means that unless something comes up and if he isn't disrupted by nightmares - he's sleeping in, playing video games, and working exclusively on fun pointless shit. ]

Well, I don't have any orange on, but I still got some green and purple - [ someday he'll get better at training. it has to happen, right? ]

No one with a smidgen of sanity would try to get out of naked time with you.

Working towards. Just curious. I know no one dances better than me. [She didn't mean for it to sound third degree-y. She thought it was more light hearted, but see how he might not take it that way. Maybe a little surprised he did after all the warm bonding talk though.]
