[It's your average day on the Iskaulit. Absolutely nothing seems out of place initially, but without any warning- you might find yourself or your friends experiencing some problems. What's up on that?

In other words, it's an Iskaulit mingle with a twist! Come on in everyone! You don't need to interact with Sora to have it effect you, so feel free to start your own threadstarter! Or talk to Sora, that's cool too. ]

[Though the fox park was available on the Marsiva, Castle decided that the Iskaulit might be a better place to take Officer Snuggles for a walk, and try to take his mind off the fact that the Vision was officially gone. Castle had lost people before, but this was the first time someone he'd considered to be a close friend had vanished, and he wasn't sure how to take it.

As he walked, his mind wandering, Castle didn't notice at first that his steps were getting heavier and heavier... until he found himself unable to lift his feet, and all it took was a trip to send him sprawing to the ground.]

Uh... help? Anyone? I've fallen and I can't get up!

[Officer Snuggles, for his part, was floating around Castle's head, looking like he was having the time of his life and yapping happily.]

[Sora was coming into the fox park when he sees this man on the ground (and his animal floating next to him? That's weird). So of course, he rushes over]

Hey! You okay?

[He'll be kneeling down, trying to figure out how bad this man's hurt]

[And a muffled reply comes from Castle, now face-down on the floor.]

'm fine, just... feel heavy all of a sudden...

[Snuggles floated by them on his back, looking content, a goofy foxy smile on his face.]

Oh no-

[What could be causing that?? Sora doesn't know. But he's very worried]

Here. lemme try helping you up.

[He'll reach over and try to pushing on the guy's shoulder to push him up, making a "nnngh" noise as he does it- but um yeah, either Castle is very heavy or Sora is very weak, as it's not very effective.

Though really the answer is probably a mix of both]

[And Castle could be heard making similar noises as he tries to roll with it, without success.]

Man, I know I'm getting a bit of a tummy, but I haven't been eating THAT much, have I?

[He snickers, then lifts his head, glaring up at Snuggles.]

Well, I'm glad SOMEONE is amused, at least, Officer Snuggles.

I dunno-! [He tries a bit more before he finally gives up, panting a little] Jeez! Heavy!

[He knows he's not that strong but come on!! He sits back, looking up at the floating happy fox]

Officer Snuggles? [What a cute name] I didn't know the foxes could float.

[Castle braced his palms on the floor, trying to push himself up, like a pushup. Nada.]

Maybe it's an augment thing...? Like my bones have turned to steel or something, except I don't feel any different. And he normally doesn't float, so everything's a bit turned about right now.

Wait, you mean like the augment's messing with the gravity or something?

[He rubs the back of his head. Why does that sound familiar.]

That's...weird.

Gravity! Yes! Why didn't I think of that?

[He sighed.]

It's happened before on my ship, except when it did I was floating like my friend the fox there. But this seems awfully... localized.

Yeah, it does.

[He frowns]

Wait, what if it's some kind of spell?

A spell... [Castle groaned again.] If that's the case, I'm helpless. I'm a 100% vanilla human being, not a drop of magic in me. I don't suppose you know any?

Uh...not really. [He frowns] I mean I got powers, but I'm not very...good at 'em.

[Castle flopped down with a sigh, before Snuggles suddenly fell to the ground; the fox yelped and scampered upright, then almost ran off til Castle gripped his leash, and unthinkingly, sat up like normal.]

Well, in that case, I'm not sure how I'm gonna... ... ... wait. I can sit up again. Did... did that really just happen?

[Misty spends enough time on the Iskaulit and loves animals so much that it shouldn't be much of a surprise when she shows up in the fox park.]

Castle!

[She kneels down next to him.]

Are you hurt?

[Castle was firmly faceplanted, so his voice was muffled as he replied.]

stuck to floor... can't get up...

Hold on just one second okay? I'm gonna use my telekinesis, so don't freak out.

[Misty stands again and turns all her focus on moving Castle but to her horror, she can't feel the magic like she's supposed to. Not even a glimmer. Okay, okay, don't freak out. What would Obi-Wan say? She closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths. The Force is always there, if she can just find it...]

[He waited a few moments, but as nothing happened, he managed to lift his head a little.]

Oh, great. Are your powers malfunctioning too?

[Her eyes pop open.]

Malfunctioning? You mean this has been happening to other people?

[At that moment, Officer Snuggles floated by at about waist height, yapping happily and pretending to swim.]

If it was just me, I'd say I was having an old man moment, but Snuggles shouldn't be able to fly.

[Misty watches Snuggles go by in some wonderment.]

No, he shouldn't. But he seems happy enough for now. [She puts her hands on her hips and studies him.] Gotta figure out what we're going to do about you.

[She kneels down again.]

I can at least try to roll you over maybe.

That'd be a good start. I do feel rather silly just lying here. [Castle placed his palms flat, trying to push up. No dice.] Oh, come on...

[Misty squats beside Castle and slides her hands under one side.]

All right, on three... one... two... three!

[She pushes with all her might which... turns out to be more than she expected. A lot more. Enough that she very well could send him flying, unless the gravity counteracts her enough.]

Shit!

[All it did was tilt Castle onto his side, but it was enough- he soon flopped onto his back.]

Hey, Atroma, I hope the audience is having a good laugh over this, you jerks. You OK, Misty?

Yeah I just.... something weird's goin' on with me.
